How to get your act together, for Vicious

So, seeing as how some of your best members are just completely ignoring TW, many of your members are fed up with the majority of your guild, and just all of vicious seeming to fall apart more and more, I thought I would offer a few words of advice, so that maybe there will be something left to beat in TW.



First of all, set standards for your guild. Stop taking rejects, they were rejected for a reason. It's crazy how many people apply to QQme, get rejected, and then the next day they're in vicious. Set some standards, have some pride. Guild are like college, the better they are, the harder they are to get into. The good ones you have to apply and hope you get in, the bad ones will practically beg you to join.


Second, worry about yourselves more than others. I have on good information that 90% of Vicious guild chat is nothing but random people that no one hears about talking about how "we're gonna take down QQme, QQme is a bunch of loser, etc." Stop worrying about us and worry about yourselves. Those same members are the ones that never level, never improve gears, don't show up to TW, show up uncharmed, show up without apothecary, etc. The same ones meditating during TW because they are too cheap to buy charms. Worry about your own members, your own TWs, your own progress, not us. Because you focus on us, and then ignore yourselves and get steamrolled. And don't give me that BS of "our goal isn't to take down QQme" (i'm looking at your aasimar), while that might not be your "official" policy your members certainly go on about it a lot.


Third, attend weekly events. I've been saying this for like 6 months now and you still don't do it. Ever week we go to dragon temple and get millions upon millions of coins from rare pet scrolls. Then the next day we go and organize CoA squads and make millions there. Then on thursday we go to tournament and walk away with a championship scroll and literally easily over one hundred page of fate/old book pages. Yes, it won't be easy. Yes, QQme will try to kill you if you go for a chest. Yes, we will kill you on sight in tournament, but you still need to try or you will never succeed.



Fourth, make your members show up to TW prepared. This means charm, platinum at least. Apothecary, at least 2 hours worth. Defense charms, charb meat, herb yunxiao, fully repaired gear. We get coins for TW now, there is no excuse, make it mandatory. Guy showed up to TW uncharmed? No TW pay. That easy, you'll be surprised how often people start wearing charms. Sponsor herb farming events and some other stuff. I heard about that one barb (cata barb? Can't remember) who was a guild officer, hardball or hardrock or hardpenis or w/e, showing up uncharmed and when asked why not charmed "because I can't afford one, I am F2P player" like seriously? I'm probably poorest player on RT, and I can still afford charms. And I was buying them back during 3 hour levi TWs where all I got was 20 mirages.




Fifth, make officers people who actually do stuff, not people who happen to be OP or... just random people.

second, dont be so vain, QQme's name stays out of fac chat and vent till TW.

third, ill agree there, vicious could get millions at weekly events. too bad about half the faction is european and would rather sleep than go to events

fourth, when was the last non-levi/QQme TW you were at? it seems rather apparent you havent been to TW in months (i have that on good information, "the xHeavenly of QQme" was it?)

Well I found it hard to attend TW with a broken laptop, but you'll be glad to know I've been for the past few weeks and I'm signed up for this weekend.

I'm just going to take a wild guess guess, but seeming's as QQme has the majority of the highest level's and best geared players where a lot of the band-waggoner's tend to join, yet you're wondering why there's no competition, I'm going to leave that as my answer.

There is no way that one can raise up a single faction to beat the #1. That's too hard, and too many #2s on various servers have tried and failed.

What you need is the whole server QQing about how the evil big white is taking over the map, with such speculations and rumors such as QQme is a bunch of cash shoppers and controlling gold prices with all of its TW pay. In fact, stop giving people the impression that you guys work hard for your gear or merched well, just say you cash shopped all of it so people will hate you. Every TW win should be followed by an abundance of gloating and "Victory!" screenshots no matter who you fight.

Try to stir up drama by KSing wbs, CoA bosses, and ganking people in PK everywhere. Being hated needs to be a group effort!

Eventually this will culminate into a series of rage ganks by the server, and you will find competition in the form of semi decent triple defends. If that doesn't work then sorry but RT just has no balls.

Rawrgh, I applaud your efforts for trying generating competition as well as get a rise out of pissing people off lol. In general terms, I agree for the SERVER to step up to the plate. The things you desire us to do much harder to do from our stand point. As forward as server events go, we have a ridiculous amount of Euro players which happen to be our best geared players. There are no excuses for the remainder of our faction nor for any faction on the map. You have to also consider that many of your own members show up for a free victory. There was once a time when Leviathan had very near the same amount of people in the tournament as you guys did; yes we lost but the fact of the matter is once people went to QQme they started to do the tournament out of no where. They never did it in any of the previous factions they were in but since QQme wins it they develop the courage to participate. It happens.

As for me, after next week I will be attending 90% of the tournaments and CoA (finishing training and my schedule changes) regardless if I'm solo or with a group. I cant speak for everyone in my faction but from what I see, we are trying to get better.

I would just like to point out the fact that we are not the saviors of the server. If the server doesn't want QQme to take the map then do something about it. Thats one thing that we don't want to happen so we will always be trying to stop that but at the same time we are not obligated to protect the server from anyone.

Thats my 2 cents and I probably won't be responding to anything else in this thread. Keep trolling Rawrgh and catch you in TW eventuallyb:bye

We're the only ones that kill world bosses, and we're too busy farming rings while random *** Russians pull phys immune bosses around in CoA.

@Tony - No it hasn't been tried enough.The longest period of ganks that I can recall in order to take down the #1 faction was against Infamy but it didn't take long before they started breaking apart and weren't #1 anymore.I don't consider the ganks after that having balls because that was just a way for lots of other factions to grab free land.

Okay,wall of text incoming:

I gotta say that RT's pretty much broken beyond repair when it comes to TWs & other competitive weekly events which are the only way to get some decent pvp on a PVE server.I'll even go as far to say that this reset has put our server in a worst state than before.It's already a known fact that ppl here have the,as dyl said,"can't beat 'em? join 'em" syndrome and with the way the game has become right now the chances of finding ppl that are still motivated enough to step up & do something are very slim.

If QQme would've owned the map right now at least other factions would attack them just because they'd have no1 else to attack.A lot of the new generation of players these days just want an easy win and they can leave at the 1st signs of trouble,every faction has those and I'm sure QQme no exception.Also about TW pay,I remember I got upset when they removed it the 1st time and while I do love it,I can clearly say that it's going to kill RT TWs even more since every1 will want to be in the faction that gives most pay,a.k.a. QQme and once that's full,there's always their alt factions.There will be a small number of ppl who'll try to put up a fight at 1st but they'll quickly give up once they'll see how hard it is and just join the bandwagon or completely retire from the TWs.

I don't know when RT as a server will actually gonna grow some balls & try to put up a fight,if ever, and I don't know if I'll ever be around long enough to watch it happen.

I'm usually the type of person that prefers to stay & fix things rather than going for something better but this is just like beating a dead horse and many ppl including me have been beating it for a few months now.There are too few ppl that are actually interested in doing something and know what it takes to do it,the rest are just "me,mes" that either don't give a damn or claim & think that they do but don't realize that they're doing it terribly wrong and refuse/get mad when they get any constructive criticism.

Anyway I'm kinda done here,I'm playing FW most of the time anyway and will prolly' play it even more soon so gl to every TW faction here in whatever it is that you wanna do.

Cos from what i seen theres A LOT of qqing and not much pew pewing.

So why should someone motivated like me step up again? Are you gonna get ur web browsing *** off the pwi forums for once in your life, stop the trollin and gather 200 MOTIVATED (good luck with this) people and kick them 'band-wagoners' in the ***? Or are you gonna continue commentating on how some people lack integrity to fight the power?

Have the small population of motivated people tried to steer the stubborn mule that is RT? Yes, and it has gotten old, at least for me and as the saying goes.. 'you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make it drink..'
