what do you prefer in terms of healing? cleric or mystic?

    Although, as a cleric, I find it handy to have a mystic in my BH squads... that rez-on-death buff is nice.

    Personally, i prefer the Clerics over the Mystics because they have stronger healing, but i have to agree with Flicker. They can be pretty useful. Especially if you have a habit of dying often or accidently targeting the wrong monster that ends up killing you. >.>

    Honestly, have you TRIED to convince DD's to stand in the heal radius of the vital herbs? Not as easy as you'd think. b:chuckle

    eva, welcome to the world of a combat cleric, I really hate to heal lol. but i like the debuffs, shell and well everything but the heals. mystic can pull some of those but not as well.

    Honestly, all the squads i've been in lately seem to have a mystic in them....
    On my veno main <.<, i had a mystic healing in BH the other day o.o.... simple so say, we really needed that self-rezz buff >.<
    But nothing can make me choose a mystic over a cleric! (particually because i'm a veno xD)

    cleric. while mystics have pretty good heals, i admit, it seems to me that when the SHTF, the array of cleric heals is better at keeping up with the chaos of an attack gone wrong.


    ofc, this is me as a DD being aware of the heals/etc going on around me (i try to pay attention), maybe I just have encountered lesser skilled mystics.

    Mystics are great Support Healers but can not replace Clerics as the Primary Healers of the game.

    I would Prefer a Cleric but Always love having a Mystic in the party.

    This is just cause you've been around pro clerics like me. b:cool Nah but seriously the clerics spot is safe, I don't know why people keep comparing them to clerics. They are far closer to venos, and venos still do it better. :P That being said that auto rez is nice, but its just basically a rez scroll with a 30 second cool down.

    Sorry, cleric hands down.

    A cleric + mystic in squad is awesomeness. However, from recent experiences on lower level alts (lv70 and below), I get a wee bit nervous when there's a mystic as main healer in squad. BH51 with a mystic as main healer... I honestly didn't believe we would finish the run but stuck with it just to see. That has been the only successful run of BH51 with a mystic healer >.>;

    Ive done a bunch of fcs with lvl 85+ mystics in the last few days and i can say without a shadow of a doubt....cleric lol. Their plants are nice added heal to bb or when bishops are running a muck, but they just dont seem to have the healing power to keep the party alive in big pulls, espically in cases when the dd steal aggro from kitteh, 50% damage reduction for the entire party is nothing to sneeze at.

    Shouldn't be a competition. The classes compliment each other very well, but Mystics certainly can't replace clerics.

    Honestly on this topic I view it no differently than having a wiz as a back up healer. My wiz was able to heal my gf's bm through a great deal of content, and even some bosses. In the end I would still much rather have a cleric healing than a wiz or mystic, but in a pinch ya work with what you have available :)

    Really I think that a cleric can come to the party buff and get out of it, really I DO NOT prefer mystics over cleric but I seriously think that in certain instaces mystics can do it right b:victory of course with the cleric's buffs already active also if you compare the survavility of both mystics have pet tank and the ress buff that always protect them Really dont get angry by another class dont claim vengeance b:surrender just enjoy Ur support b:laugh

    Personally I like both. As a cleric myself, I love having mystic in my squads. Res buff being the main reason, but also sometimes I get a quick heal that saves my own butt. Another reason is assassins. I hate to admit it, but at my current level the mystic heal is ridiculously faster than mine. Ironheart just doesn't cover a sin who wants to play barbarian.

    I keep a good relationship with mystics, I don't want them to try and replace me but mystics compliment clerics very well. Remember folks, key to a great squad is great communication. b:cute
