What do you guys think about this NON-APS sage assassin build ?

    Okay... Do it.

    You might as well go FULL OUT and get R8 and R9 rings, and 4 pieces of R9 armor for an additional +20 attack level, for another couple grand or whatever. Your def level will go up, your damage will go up 20% more, and at +12, I think the R9 armor refines a little better.

    And I think you'll be told to go R9 instead of Nirvana.

    Wow. I am absolutely NOT trolling. I chose Nirvana since I want a classic Nirvana build, and NONE of the *on the silver plate* rank gear. Indeed, I am a F2P player, and such gear will take a few good years of farming and merchanting. I should have mentioned = no rank gear in suggestions, my bad.

    And then the local r9 wiz/psy/veno/cleric pops up and 2-shots this build due to the lousy mag defense.

    I am 100% certain that R9 is better since I double-checked the set bonuses.

    The local r9 wiz/psy/veno/cleric won't have the advantage of stealth. Also, the insane defense level more than makes up for magic defense.

    How is it an extraordinary build if you knowingly don't choose the best gear available?

    You plan on perma stealthing?

    You expect all fights to be 1v1?

    Assuming the sin attacks first, surviving is the same deal as any other so the gear/culti doesn't really matter. If the sin is caught attacking someone else or something like that to negate the stealth advantage, then the sin is screwed because the local r9 caster will have enough attack levels to negate the defense level on the sin.

    Alright, thank you for suggesting full rank 9. I was going for something a little more original, but I guess I have to join the bandwagon on this build.

    Would just like to add that having a crit arrow has no additional effect when being used with daggers. It only takes effect when the arrow is actually being fired.

    Apart from that have fun :) R9 isnt everything

    I had fun and I am STILL having fun. I don't expect owning any of these sets in th near future though, just making it a goal for the years to come. Thanks for all the tips !

    ok, aside from teh telling you to get r9, i'll make XD suggestions on the gear you want.

    Swap out all those jades for DoT >.> it'll give you a total of 84 attack levels....plus sage chill will add 35, and a jones another 30, for a whopping 149 attack levels.....

    well if you haven't heard of me i was first sage sin on Lost City and i got 180 atk lvl and tons of people started to follow after they saw how strong it was. I got r9 daggers with 2x drakeflames and +12 fully farmed stuff =)
    highest dmg i have done was 1032178 on a GV boss.
    and its aoe dmg
    my genie is a 92/100 120str genie with tangling mire to add more physical dmg =) in addition to runes.

    NV cape + helm
    Full R9 armor set+weapon
    going to farm a G16 cube neck once i get off my lazy butt and go back to lvling.
    after all that is farmed ill farm sky covers for additional atk lvls.
    all 4 socket with DoT

    sage chill +jones blessing alone is a 65 atk lvl bonus
    frenzy adds another 20

    dont hate on my + its all tisha'd

    well the calculator doesnt allow you to include genie skills+chill but heres what i am shooting for.

    Can't get 180 att level.
    Full R9: 63
    Nirvana: 5
    Necky: 4
    PQ rings: 4
    Jones Blessing: 35
    DOT Shards: 24
    Sage COTD: 35
    Thats 170. So even if u sacrifice your drakeflames in the daggers thats still only 172.
