Low FPS

I've been playing for awhile now, and never had this problem before (so no it's not my system).

The new movie during boot up is jerky like it's low fps, then the plants at character select also move like I'm missing frames. When I'm in game if I just stand still and wait a few minutes I'll have green lag, and 40-60 fps. As soon as I move it drops to 1-7 fps, still green lag, and stays that way until I stop moving. I played this morning with no issue.

I've had low fps in TW, or West arch, but this was out in village of brutes, no one around but me.

    Please note that most of the PWE Angelica engine games are more CPU intensive then GPU intensive.
    The game engine is not multi threaded, so if you have a CPU that has a ton of cores, but each core isn't that great, it isn't going to perform well. Many games and other apps are using multiple cores which shows immense improvement in modern 3d games like FPSes and such in the mainstream.

    Turning down some of the water and terrain settings (and/or others) will get you better FPS. It is just the way the engine renders some things, regardless of what your hardware is. You have to teak the settings to get the best performance for your individual machine. Unfortunately, we can't always get what we want with our games.
