New Idea for Dyeing Clothing

I've been playing this game for 2 years and I've been having more fun w/ it than a lot of other MMORPG's that I've played. Even the boutique has made it a lot of fun, though I've noticed that people have a lot of issues with the fashion section. The fact that the color dyes they want aren't readily available is a bone a lot of players have to pick with PWI. And the "gamble" color dyes from the cash shop give a lot of ppl headaches when trying to get the colors they want.

However, based on how the game works, I have an idea that would make both sides happy.

Say that a player could buy a scroll, or a jewel, or a tab, (something of that nature) at the boutique for a certain amt. of gold, that could give you the opportunity to dye your clothing.

The player takes it to the seamstress, and you can PICK the color you want, using the fitting room interface and that rainbow box that shows up in the fitting room when window-shopping in the boutique. However, once the color is chosen, the player can choose to make it PERMANENT until the next time they use said scroll/jewel/tab.

The item could cover one garment or all, depending on how much you want to charge, and I think you guys would get a LOT more business in the fashion department this way :) Also, the game designers wouldn't have to alter the game too much with existing interfaces.

Let me know what you think about this...

Well quite frankly, I think that if we purchase a fashion item then we should be able to choose what color we want. Do we go to the clothing store and buy items that are not the color we want? NO.

I think that if we are buying zen, then we should be able to make our own colors.

They already have a color chart for us to see what colors look the best, so why not just make it so we can choose from there.
They can still sell dyes to those who want to change the colors later.
The random colors really bite, because you usually get such bright colors that even a dead person wouldn't want to wear them.

And why do the barfighter legs cover the color of your shoes? I mean who wears their stockings on the outside of their shoes???
