I use Voidstep, Stalagstrike, Battousai, Heartseeker, Gemini Slash, and Dark Cloud Bolt a lot. Lvls 19-49 skills.

actually, i watched Sverdet in action a little the other day, and voidstep went right to the top of my skills-i-want-on-my-seeker list. she's still too low level for it, but it's got priority once i get her leveled.

i'm currently using heart shatter a lot, mainly because i skill spam. i should probably be using blade affinity more than i do, come to think of that. battousai, stalagstrike, and staggering strike are staple skills.

I got my lvl 59 skills, and I am in love with them. Quid Pro Quo, Edged Blur, and Yataghan Vortex ftw!

Seekers have a lot of nice skills that have the potential to be maxed, but spirit can be scarce in the early stages of the game. I'm not sure how many agree with me on this, but conservatively speaking, I would follow these guidelines:

    Buffs/Blessings/Passives
    • Bladed Fervor - this isn't a priority, but it's nice to max later in the game, so just sink coin/sp in it once in a while
    • Adrenal Numbness - keep it maxed to your level to lower damage that you take
    • Blade and Sword Mastery - you need this to increase your overall damage; this is first priority

    Stances
    • Northern Sky Waltz - you'll use this often to spike mobs to death and immobilize them
    • Parchedblade Dance - one of your few mob control skills
    • Soulsever Minuet - opener for bosses as the debuff lasts 3 mins; start leveling this after your other skills are maxed as this costs lost of coins/sp

    Attack SKills
    • Heartseeker - great control skill to freeze mobs in place, has a great distance, and can help spike
    • Gemini Slash - just like Soulsever Minuet, level later as this costs lots of coins/sp
    • Yataghan Vortex - don't start leveling this until all other previously mentioned skills are maxed and you are at a higher level; the mana drain is pretty bad for you if you level it too fast

The skills listed above are the main skills that will help you deal damage, debuff, and control mobs. Things like battousai, staggering strike, stalagstrike and darkcloud bolt aren't listed because they do not add significant damage in the later levels, but instead, just add range. You can do that later in the game when you have spare coins/sp. The skills listed above in the bullets will actually have greater impact in killing mobs (since their damage is based on weapon damage % instead of add-on) than the insignificant damage add-on skills like battousai will do. Also, rocksplitting cleave, staggering strike, stalagstrike, darkcloud bolt, and battousai are best at building chi, since their add-on damage is much like some of the bm skills that aren't leveled. I'm not saying that they're not worth leveling, but if you're low on coin/sp, you could conserve it for better skills.

I think edged blur is probably meant for pvp, since vortex is a lot better to use for PvE. Edged blur just deals a set amount of metal damage described by the skill instead of being based on weapon % like vortex.

Voidstep and Quid Pro Quo are nice to have, but are not necessarily needed above level 1 early compared to some other skills (again refer to the bullet points above :P). Those can be leveled later when you have more coin/sp to spare.

Unfetter can be left at level 1, but it's nice to have the extra speed in instances along with holy path on a genie. I'd ge blade affinity to around 50% for a while to combo with gemini slash or other attack chains where channeling is normally slow.
