Seekers are AWESOME

I was just in a nirvana doing my 99 key quests with a few friends.. and was amazed how awesome seekers are. Their pve buffs are AMAZING amps for us casters. I don't think I'd ever hit a ? boss for over 200k (first cast +10 nv wep) with pyro, and a psy friend in my squad with a +12 r9 wep hit one of the bosses in there for over 600k (and black voodoo had just worn off apparently lol). Our party was..

mage (me) obv, +10 first cast
psy +12 r9
sin +11 r9 (3.33aps)
bm +5 (2.5aps)
veno/seeker with negligible DD

I couldn't believe it when you could actually see a very significant damage increase when the seeker used his fire buff (soul shatter). Before today, I thought that the damage of a caster would always be negligible when a high APS char is also attacking a boss, but I was wrong :P It's great to see a squad with half int chars and half casters being able to finish a full nv run in 10 mins!

    I would be intrigued if I didn't know your posts no longer had any credibility you Lost City wizard.

    Wow nirvana boss has 3mil HP only or something?

    so i guess 1 seeker and 1 psy can solo nirvana already.

    What qq? They can hit the same if not more in the time it takes to cast the skills with equivalent debuffs. And they don't have to push multiple skills/take mp.

    Ya I wasn't saying we now out DD aps chars, just have enough damage to make a dent (and hopefully get in parties). Besides, its a 20sec debuff with a 3 minute cooldown, its nice for lower hp bosses (like in nv) but not sustained damage.

    It only makes Magic user want to group with seeker and go nirvana,

    which might be a good thing.

    All aps user 1 team, all magic user 1 team.

    Both side get to go nirvana good deal?

    Only the wep and without black voodoo. So no extra 30 attack levels from the r9 set bonuses or 25 from sage black voodoo.
