Continual Work in Progress

So here is my idea. I'm starting a thread and will list out all the bosses I can possibly think of. Anything from FB, to TT, to FCC, WB, cardboss... whatever. I'll try to find their skills and list them. Then I'd like to compile "what marrow to use" and "what their channeling looks like" notes to help BMs solo/tank all the bosses. Too often I notice I'm iffy on whether I can tank a boss so I gamble on a marrow and the next hit KO's me +5000 damage because I guessed the marrow wrong. So as I figure them out I'll add what I find and I'll try to update regularly what you guys can add too. Will put (?) where I need info.

The purpose of this won't be "how to tank bosses", but will be "how BMs can tank bosses" so throw in your notes and tricks and I'll add them.

Qingzi - Earth/Phys - blue circles and raocks around waist before ranged attack magic attack. Best to phys marrow and interupt magic attack.

Farren - Earth/Phys - Aoe is physical and is triggered by ranged attacks.
Calcid - Fire/Phys - Phys Melee attack, Fire ranged attack. Bleed effect.
Trioc - Metal/ (? phys?)

Fushma - Earth/Physical
Rankar - Fire/Physical - Has two Aoe's. I short ranged physical and a long ranged fire (verification?)
Wyvern - Fire/Physical - Physical Aoe (thought to be front and back?) and curse effect

Zimo - Metal/Physical -
Ofotis - Wood/Physic - Physical melee attack, ranged wood attack. Can see him channel the ranged attack about every 15 seconds. I'd avoid marrowing but if you are good at canceling then use p marrow and cancel ranged attack.
Qianji - Water/Physical - Magic marrow.
Drake - Fire/Physical - Physical Marrow, have a cleric purify his fire DoT
Gluttonix - Fire(?)/Earth/Physical - Physical marrow and have a cleric purify DoT, or avoid using marrow.

    seperate versions for solo and squad

    recomended geni skill builds for solo/squad play

    Gamma/frost pulling

    a camera to record you wet nurseing 100+ bm's as they grasp desperatly and your hand knowing your the only one who will ever really care.... because its hilarious
    Gifs are hard to make work here

    Pretty much that's what I'm gambling on, but as you said its most, not all. Also, alot of them have huge magic attacks. Alot of them have huge physical attacks. Lean too much one way the other will getcha.

    note: 59 bosses mag attacks are weaker than hell, their close phys is strong, mag marrow bad

    Shadowless kick is nice in PvE, provided it doesn't miss.

    Magic Marrow on Drum is a yes yes. He can zap pretty hard on lower level BM while his physical hits isn't too bad.

    Possible Magic Marrow on Wurlord if you have 2 Clerics. His physical damage hurts a LOT, but still can be recovered by IH of the 2nd Cleric. But if he can one shot the BM w/o Marrow through BB, then game over. With just BB Magic Marrow will kill you at lower level. You'll just have to time Shadowless, Smack and double sparks to resist its magic. At higher APS, you can easily time Shadowless with triple spark for his magic.

    If I have a charm on, I use magic marrow on most of the TT boss that does hit hit hit cast. Since IH is still enough to heal over the extra constant damage from melee hits, I don't tick when it nukes a magic at me.

    that only picks off every other spell and cant be used to cancle debuffs like pole/nobs or aoe's/random aggro on bosses like AE, earthquake is honestly far better for pve on bosses

    True , a genie equipped with True emptyness and earthquake, will save you a lot of questions as to when cancel with the kick. I don't even altar magical on mine really. If I know the magic won't hit me too hard even with altar physical on, I put it up and go up close. If I feel it might be a problem (sacrificial magic atk mobs for exemple) I just dont put it up.

    But as he said..earthquake on Nob/Pole and other bothersome ones is a must. For the rest, True emptyness. Just activate AS SOON as u see boss "pre-cast" . 95% of the time, will shiled you in time. For the other 5%, have whatever healing ready.. Crab meats, healing on genie or even Reviving saps of death.

    I Phyiscal Marrow on wurlord and cancel all magic attacks by resist with demon spark and mixing in earthquake (Genie Skill) and Shadowless kick. Works extremly well unless you have lag, then you get one shot.
