Alliances and TWs

So, today I heard (repeatedly) the rumor that forming an Alliance with another faction could allow you to go and participate into one another's TW. Today my faction (Knights) was attacking Tribute, and they forged an alliance with Essence today too, and apparently it didn't work. No Bixnood or Susa to beat our asses there!

Then again you need 100hrs to participate in a TW to begin with, so maybe it's the same for alliances. Tho I doubt it. I'd just like to know how could one even begin to think that? It would be completely fcked up if that was actually possible.

But, then again (again), maybe you need the alliance to have existed for a certain amount of time... Can somebody tell me? I mean was that said somewhere or something? Talked about in the features?
