Survival Quest bugged up?

Gron Moe gives a quest called survival and even when you fail the enemy continues to attack you summoning allies and I continued to be attacked even from the air? after it finally stopped I tried again (and Died) yet the enemy once again stayed there and I did not fail the test untill I revived in a city (because I went too far) so death does not cause failure just a bug I suppose I don't know. it all seemed really odd.

    I got killed, and I had resurrect on.
    I came back without my chiyui, of course, and I ran to the very edge I could go without ending the quest. The main guy stopped summoning his minions, and I just waited out the time.
    The main guy then disappeared, and I turned it in.

    It looks like all you have to do is start it without a summon, and run to the edge and then wait.
    Maybe that's why it's called "Survival" :D
