Rank 8 worth it?

I have a large stockpile of badges I never used and basically wondering if rank's worth it for Mystic or to sell the badges instead.

Looking at the gear, the weapon's worse than the other rank 8s (both in average damage and addons) and the other gear's not that great as well. Though nowadays, TT armor set is pretty expensive/annoying (even with 5aps) to get and still weaker than r8 armor, armor outside TT99 is quite poor (sans a very lucky OHT), and outside of second cast and rank9, the weapon's the strongest available in terms of damage.

    Mystic R8 gear is basically cleric rank 8 gear, just diff look
    disregard the wrists/boots since TT99 are lot better
    the wep itself is also almost exact copy of cleric r8 glaive just small change in damage range

    the top and wep alone are worth it for magic class,
    pants id prefer TT90 over r8 unless its veno r8 pants

    so id say yes it is worth it to get r8 for mystic if your actually gonna lv it to 100 and use it, otherwise itd go to waste

    but 1 thing tho, plz do not get r8 belt, since it would be a mag def belt and as an AA using class u dont need more mag def u need p def b:surrender

    i would say yes. the r8 weapon itself is nice to get. especially if u get the rep on sale XD

    the tt90 green pants are better in physical defense, but the chest is is always good for the casting and other attributes. i dont think the gloves and shoes are that bad if you dont feel like getting tt99 lol.

    i think i will go r8 on my mystic whenever there is another sale XD

    Rank8 gear is more powerful than the nirvana weapons so is a must have it well only if u got it and lvl your toon to lvl 100... so for me yes get it lvl up

    Not Nirvana weapons that have been re-cast. You can easily get a weapon that is far superior to Rank 8 weapons. Rank 9 is another story, though.

    yeah but to recast a nirvana weapon cost more money than getting R8 and with the dragon points R9 is possible not that I object though.... but getting r8 at first give u a good boost when u reach lvl 100 while u get money for R9

    I always thought that wands were supposed to have a tighter range than magic swords:
    Acalantha Wand: Sunflame vs. Sakra-devanam-Lundra
    Neon Purgatory vs. Buddha's Leaf
    Foundation of World vs. Doom of Flowers

    IMO this r8 is all kinds of fail compared to the Nature Talker.

    Get rank 7 bottom instead of rank 8. It has def add on instead of mp/recovery.

    Mystic Rank 7 legs for some reason have same adds as Veno rank7 legs
    o.O its just weird, guess they rly took the whole veno/cleric hybrid thing into the rank gear system as well, pretty much just expected mystics to have exact same adds on their rank gear as clerics did lookin at the r8 stuff

    rank 7 pants are identical to tt90 green pants, except for the add on magic, but the tt90 has more HP, and is wearable at 90, instead of 99. same grade ranks, too.

    Assuming you buy badges at 10k a pop, about 80mil, 120mil for rank 9

    Rank is definetly worth it. Remember. Rank gear has no equipment req aside from lvl.

    Once you hit rank 8, reset note your str into vit or magic

    Only rank armor doesn't require stats. Weapon requirements are still normal.
