Im currently using Ocean's R8 daggers... my goal is to be 5 aps but its taking way too long to get gear do to its high prices. Im trying to see or get some input on how would be the best way to get a set of Nirvana Daggers... Nirvana runs, over and over and over again would be one choice... but its this the way you guys have gotten them? Or did you guys got lucky with a sugar mama or daddy to put their credit card to good use b:chuckle

Im looking at Hitman Legd but I have no clue as to how to get some of the badges and or signs. Any info on how or where to get these would be great. I been searching the forums but i find very little info. Perhaps i can get some info from those that have them. b:victory

im also thinking about going into tt and farming for mats to sell to see what i can get. Just not sure if it pays to do that... the cost of crab meat plus repairs would it be worth the 100k some mats are worth? If anyone has a guide on to how to solo tt that would be greatly appreciated.

PS: im lvl 100, 2.20 aps unspark... a little under 5k hp (need to add a few more stones in my gear to hit 5k) most of my gear is plus 3-4. Daggers are Oceans plus 3 with LOL shards in it for now (LOL = perfect topaz) if you got LOL then thats why i call them LOL shards.b:chuckle

Hitman legend isn't worth it if you already have R8 daggers. If you're looking to farm things fast, and you need 5aps, then I suggest you should look into restat your stats to HA for farming. Sure you could do that with a BM, but sins have BP available at any time. Not to mention finding Nirvana squads won't be hard when you have 5aps.

Hitman legend needs 1 sign of Endurance, Strength, Courage, Bravery, Speed, Wisdom, and Dexterity. You can get Endurance weekly from the Temple of the Dragon event (not sure on this at all, please correct me if I'm wrong); Strength/Courage/Bravery are possible choices of rewards to spend your points on in the weekly event City of Abominations; Speed is obtained daily through the 9-9:30 PM server time race (at the Khatru Pup); Wisdom can be obtained by trading 5 Copper Dragon Orders and trading it in at the Dragon Quest Director; Dexterity can be obtained daily through the Cube of Fate, but be warned, it's only a 5% chance to get it from the Cube Crate (reward given to those who complete the cube)

If you're planning to buy all of the badges yourself, then be prepared to pay roughly 100-130m.

5aps would allow you to demon spark permanently. This increases survivability and damage output by quite a bit. For me, I find that permasparking 5aps with Deicides (still pure dex build with 117 str base at 99 +adds for str for the claws) on ? leveled bosses is stronger than 3.33 sparked Hook and Thorn. But don't forget you still have daggers on you. I always demon Rib Strike the bosses, as it slows down their attack speed by 65%, which increases your survivability by a lot. After 2 sparks, just switch over to RS, and Focused Mind/Wolf emblem, then spark again, and switch weapons, and attack. The only thing you can do while in the spark animation is switch gears.

All you need for 5aps sparked is Deicides, TT99 Gold LA boots/bracers, TT99 Gold HA belt/necklace, and Rank 8 top. That's 3.33 aps, and when sparked, it's 5 (1/3.33 = 0.3003 * 0.75 = 0.225, which rounds down to .2 on the table for aps. 1/0.2 = 5)

I haven't thought about trying this, but someone has restatted to HA on their sin to farm. It was a sin, and it was in his sig, but I forgot his name. Maybe he can help you here.

I hope what I said helps. I have 2.5 aps unsparked with Hook and Thorn at level 99, but 4 aps unsparked with Deicides. They're 3.33/5 sparked though. But you can semi-perma spark if you had 2.86 unsparked daggers.

Also don't even consider going HA claw unless you can afford to 2 sets of gear for int bonus

how much do a set of Deicides run these days? i only need 13 str to put them on... i can take 2 from mag to bring it to 3 and the other 11 from dex. I do have a pair of H&T plus 3 with 1 immac. but Your right the 5 aps of Deicides will out damage the H&Ts at 3.33.

I just realized I've been spelling your name wrong the whole time YouriNishi. No wonder you always seemed to be offline XD

Technically you don't have to restat to HA/str build for 5aps via deicides because you are "5aps", which is enough to get you into a nirvy squad easily.

Once I get my nirvana daggers, I'm lowering down my str down to 117 with gear. I'd be able to sell my Deicides for some coin for some of the Uncanny crystals for the nirvana legs. That's just my course of action that I'm planning to do.

But what YouriNishi stated is true. If you're restatting to HA, you'd want to switch out to TT99 HA Bracers/Boots, and TT99 LA Ornaments. Though I'm not quite sure if the tradeoff is worth it.

Not sure on your server, but during the beginning of the pack sales, a lot of players were selling their gear pretty cheap. I saw a few going for 35-40m, but I got mine for 28-ish million.

No clue what type of nirvana squads your running in but you'd be kicked from any i've ever run in. Sins with claws is a b:laughb:laugh to 99% of our server, let alone LA. you're giving up HUGE amounts amount of damage for aps.

I know I'm giving up a lot of DPS using lunar claws at the bare minimum str, but everyone seems to like 5aps more b:sad, not to mention I haven't been in a 100% pro nirvana squad yet since I've just recently started, so rib strike to permasparking is a little easier, though less damaging in the long run than R8 3.33.

If I ever squad with you for nirvana before I get my nirvana daggers, I'll be sure to hide the claws b:surrender

The only two reasons I've been using Deicides was because pre-100, they did roughly the same DPS sparked as Hook and Thorn, but Deicides allowed me to spark more often, meaning higher survivability (heal from spark), and constant DPS output. The other reason is obviously an easy ticket to 5aps.

Now that I hit 100, I can easily see the damage different between sparked R8 daggers and Deicides. I hope you could understand my motives for getting these claws at 95 b:sad

Im gonna stick to my R8... the damage output is almost twice as much... no way 5 aps Deicides at min str will ever come close. And i dont want to spend the money on a tt99 HA set... with that money i might as well buy my nirvy daggers.

guess im just gonna farm nirvy until the end of time. lol

Should have stuck to a pure dex build built for daggers and ya i'm sure you've noticed the damage reduction because of it.

And i've scoped your gear you should be able to perma spark without using Deicides b:sad

Thank you very much once again Nishi You've helped me a lot with information about gear a while ago (if you remember), and again now. The only reason I went Deicides was the temptation of 5aps (as I've never used it before, or seen it from the players side (didn't search videos thoroughly enough)), and that I needed just 7 more str points to put it on. I'm 117 base str, but will be restat-ing to a much lower one soon.
