i'm new to the game itself, so i've gotten myself to 30 vit, and placed 1 into str every 10 levels, and the rest is in magic. i'm level 26 now, loving the class as my other thread says, but i wanna know what i can expect in the future and i have a few questions.

1. i know there is no best pet, according to what i've heard, but what are the pros and cons of each pet? so far i only have access to thedevil and the storm mistress and i've worked out that

Devil

Pros: does not require mana for his job, but makes him better at it

The stunn has saved my life when i was being an idiot and not paying attention

Doesn't seem to take to much damage.

Cons: none that i can really see except useless vs those who have high defense.

Storm mistress:
Pros: Does incredible damage

offers the class it's first AOE

Offers another element besides wood and physical
attacks from a distance with you, so doesn't have to follow an ebeny around trying to gain aggro.

cons: is an MP *****!

doesn't deal nearly as much physical damage against oponants without mp

is squishy

i would love to here more pros and cons about these if anyone understands them better then me, as well as the two i don't own yet.

also, for the plants, i'm seeing they're more for escape tactics and pvp, am i correct? aside from the AOE healer ones down the tree.

How have you managed to get by with 1 str/10 levels? o.o

The bare minimum str to wear your current level armor/weapon is 1 str/2 levels. So by level 26 you should have 18 str. The vit you have is okay if you want a little extra survivability. However, most mystics swear by the full magic build (staying at 5 vit) since we're such heavy mana suckers. You may want to cap your vit at 30 or 40 and go full magic from there.

    As for the summons:

    Devil Chihyu
Has great physical attack, and decent hp and defenses. Generally used for everyday grinding/tanking or for fighting Arcane/Light armor people in PvP.

    Storm Mistress
Has wonderful magic attacks, but terrible physical. Generally used for AoEing in places like FC or for PvP against Light/Heavy Armor people.

    Salvation
Has terrible physical attack, but decent defenses. Used only as a support summon. 1 buff that puts a shell around a player that absorbs a set amount of damage before breaking, and another that absorbs a % of the damage they take at the cost of your summon's chi.

    Cragglord
Has all-around amazing stats, but costs 2 sparks to summon, and only stays out for 20 seconds. Used for heavy temporary DD/AoE or for fighting Arcane (auto attack), Light (auto attack or Fire AoEs), and Heavy Armor (Fire AoEs) people.

And the plant summons are used for several things. Punishing for Physical DD, Befuddling and Spidervine for your general debuffs, Listless for giving yourself a little breathing room with sleep, and Healing/Vital herb for, obviously, healing.

TL;DR version: There is no TL;DR version, read it.

Heavy Cash Shopping is the difference between understanding simple game mechanics at level 30, or level 101.

Here are a few things I've found to be successful:

    1. Send the Devil Chihyu to attack and then use Swirling Mist. SM's damage over time will kick in after a couple of devil attacks and finish off the mob quickly. This method allows the summon to keep agro.

    2. Use Absorb Soul and when the skill is about 60% done casting have Storm Mistress use Luna Blade. This allows both attacks to hit at the same time which often finishes off the mob before it can fight back.

    -gale force
    -bramble tornado
    -your heal skills
    -thicket
    -beffudling creeper,listless blossom, spidervine
    - nature's vengeance and soul absorb( use soul absorb at your own risk because that channeling is gonna stall you and give the other person an advantage XD)

Ok you forgot about sting. Plus listless and spidervine don't seem all that useful to me.

Besides that I agree completely. ^^
Although bramble tornado's knockback doesn't increase with leveling. Might be good for the spike damage though. b:question
