We realize you are excited to announce the prizes of people opening your packs. But we really do not care about Perfect tokens of best luck being announced. We would much rather see Primeval stones's, rapture/canny chest's, gems, cube stamp, warsong belt, and other rare prizes announced. So I ask of you kindly to reconsider shouting about every perfect token of best luck and showing us the real and true winners of the rare prizes.

    personally I like seeing all the announcements, it tells me that every 200 packs opened, 1 token of best luck is being given out and a handful of nice things are given out in a day -.-

    As of late Fuzzy has seen a number of threads on this type of issue and also with the basic number of system messages coming from Duke. Fuzzy is doing what the panda can to bring it up with Frankie.

    If people agree with the OP on this issue they can feel free to post in this thread, but to keep it in the same place. For a little while, Fuzzy do his best to amalgamate other threads about this issue into here.

    I would like to see every message but that is just me. But all I really see now is just perfect tokens of best luck kinda boring. I rather not see them at all and just see the good stuff! b:pleased

    It was better when duke was completely silent.

    Then for whatever insane reason, they decided to bring him back.

    IMO they should just silence him again, but if that's not a possibility then at least remove best luck tokens from the list of things he announces.

    i would rather have duke say nothing. i dont care what someone got from a pack, even if its a rare item. plus, i kinda feel sorry for some people that get the items (well, sorry cause it got announced by duke), they probably get spammed with noob offers.

    You can let him shout when ppl go afk for all I care.
    Heck, gimme the ability to filter him out my chat log and you can make him shout everytime he wipes his rearend! I dun give a damn!
    Just stop trying to brainwash me into buying packs that way, cuz it's annoying = not working!!! (It's been around yet from socialism, elloooo oo b:bye)

    i couldnt care less about the stuff people get out of the packs-its like you go to walmart, and the cashier getting on the loudspeaker and announcing what you high priced item you just bought...no one is going to care, or if they care, most likely they would be jealous.

    for myself, what makes me mad is the reams and reams of red garbage i have to sift through to pick up the thread of a conversation with someone, guild chat, or while in squad, information we need so as to work together as a unit safely. so we not only have that to deal with, but for some reason, the sliders on the sides of both the chat windows and the inventory are not working right, making any conversation even more difficult.

    Duke, i would have thought that being gagged once would have taught you to shut up. seems we need to reapply that same lesson once again, as well as collect up all the horns and have a bonfire.

    The real problem with announcing the Tokens of Best Luck is that they're not rare. Well, okay, statistically, they are, but with how many people are online at one time, that statistical rarity turns into near certainty that someone will get a Token of Best Luck within any given 5 minute span.

    No one pays attention to the Best Luck announcements, and habitually skipping over the red text means we'll skip over it when it's not one of the Tokens of Best Luck too. That makes anything said through the Duke pretty much moot, which is a pity, because some of his other announcements really are laudible.



    Dear Duke,

    Please stop announcing Tokens of Best Luck. It's creating a Pavlovian response to your announcements that will only come back to bite all of us later.

    Along with best lucks, it seems demon/sage event gold cards are now announced as well. So every monday after the tiger event, there will be 20-30 people getting these, and in turn spamming the whole server to death.

    I've missed most of the events this past week or so because I couldn't see them announced through all Duke's shouts. My chatbox is solid red much of the time and if I were to stop and read all of that I wouldn't have time to play.

    Duke makes it hard to gather a squad and run dungeons etc. Unless you use vent, it's really difficult to chat.

    I refuse to buy any packs because I do not support spam. If you want my money......

    Why the hell you make announcements of items tha people get in game?

    1st) No one cares that you have a credit card and doesn't know where to spend your money.

    2nd) It is annoying, you spend a tele only to have it flooded by red letters.

    3rd) Isn't that a bit, well, dangerous? I mean, scammers, hackers... you know what I'm talking about.

    4th) If I ever want to announce an item, I'll just spend a tele and link it on world chat, thank you.

    Seriously, either remove that stupid annoucement once and for all, or at least give us the option to block his shouts, for God's sake b:surrender

    duke can announce the start of daily and weekly events. duke may announce wraith and legion attacks, if he so wishes, provided they don't happen too often. and duke might, if he isn't too busy, announce the impending shutdown of the server. but other than that, duke blacke can kindly ****, FOAD, and DIAF. screaming.

    (yes, i left out marriage announcements on purpose. wedding guests can worldchat that if they think anybody who wasn't present would care.)

    edit: lolfilter. that starred-out thing? a four-letter abbreviation that was by far the least offensive of the three such i used. i stand by all three.

    Well in spite of everyone who plays a few hours a day claiming to know what "EVERYONE" thinks about anything at all, I personally think the Token announcements are more than I need to know. If I see someone get something I really want it would be nice to know who to go to to try and buy it. Since I have no interest at all in the stuff other people get I would really like the option of turning off those announcements entirely. Maybe blacklisting the Duke?
