I was doing a BH51 with a barb, Sin, Veno, 2 clerics, and my BM. I was giving the barb 2-3 seconds to build aggro on mobs, then AOE... And pulling aggro on everything. So I was giving the barb 5-8 seconds to build aggro... Same thing.

I ended up tanking Fushma. Cleric got pissed, told me to let the Barb tank. I said 'fine'. So, I held off until Rank was down to 3/4 to start, and pulled aggro on the third hit (using fists). wtf After that, I looked at the barb's gear... TT60 axes, 1 socket, no gem, vendor armor. b:shocked Evasion ornaments. b:shutup I have Legendary LA boots, legendary leggings, purple chest, had interval wrists, a set of legendary ornamets for Elemental, a second set for phys, and a Plat HP charm. b:shocked Soooo... I ask if the barb is even up to tanking Wyvern... He says he is. I tell him he can as long as he turns Wyvern to minimize the AOE. Cleric goes off on me, telling me to shut up and DD.

We get to Wyvern... And the barb runs straight up to Wyvern, and doesn't turn him. One cleric goes into BB, and the second AOE kills the second cleric. The veno dies from the third... The sin kites... And the barb dies a moment later... then I killed Wyvern duo with the Sin (who had rank gear/legendary gear). The Cleric was yelling at me for stealing aggro and this and that... I said I never once even attacked until after the Veno died, and left squad.

Sooo... This game is total MUD on who is 'DD' and who is a Tank sometimes. Pole/Nob... you need a Barb for lower level BH's. But a BM with good gear can tank them too. I'm sure a seeker will be able to once people sort out their builds and strengths/weaknesses. Pole and Nob are probably the first bosses I won't be able to tank on my BM, being a low vit Fist/Axe build. Maybe at 89...

And also on this note... I was doing BH59 on my Archer, with a Sin tanking Qianji... Sin died, and I ended up tanking Qianji. I've tanked all of BH59's bosses on my Archer except Ofo, that **** hits a little too hard.

I had my veno solo all my BH29 and 39, but for BH51, I can heal the first and second boss like a peice of cake, the 3rd boss is obviously a lot harder due to its curse but I think my mystic can just about manage it, chucking the tank the salvation pets damage absorb skill as soon as there hit by curse, the tank of course will need some good gear for better chance, but its still possible, since we had to do zimo for BH51, i solo healed the tank for that when my mystic was level 61 and it went perfectly fine, if the mystic your with knows what there doing, there shouldent be a problem, people need to place more trust in *good* mystics, the problem only really starts if its some insane DD boss, which needs a lot of stacked heals, but even then, we dont have many 9x mystics to really judge there overall healing power.

I understand that unless you have a charm, or a large number of MP pots, you will run out of MP rapidly solo-healing a BH... Unless the mana requirement doesn't go up as steeply as it would seem to. My mystic is only ~20 right now, so I don't know for sure...

And Rawrgh... How many 5.0 BM's are there at level 70 and below? My BM (level 66) can make it to 2.0 with RB, and 1.8x with genie assist... My Archer with fists is up around 2.5 APS with RB and fists, but damage is so low it's pointless, and no BP.

The biggest problem with a Mystic healing, that I've seen so far... They're too busy tanking/DDing/playing Halo to watch HP bars. Some clerics are like this too admittedly...

To the whole no-tanking-without-cleric from 29-51 thing...
My kitty has tanked all of those bosses cleric-less at least once. I even recently tanked wyvern in 51 with a mystic only healing as a 63 barb who isn't godly geared. Meaning no purifies of the debuffs. It just takes skill on behalf of the healer AND tanker (like saving sparks for invoke on wyv; if I failed to interrupt his AoE/debuff for my sake and the squad's, I could frighten+invoke, then pot/ToP/get healed my way to full health. Quite honestly the mystic didn't do that great of a job healing and focused more on DD though... It was a rough fight).

Don't underestimate kitties who know how to use all the skills they have. b:surrender

I do very much like squads where venos know what they and their pets can handle though. b:dirty Especially when they know to pass sparks after I invoke or sunder by knowing animations.
