Ill prob agree he isnt helping him self to much on the forum, should prob leave it for in-game, regardless of it though, he helped a stranger,he said *thanks*, not *thank you*(not like it matters), and then acted like a jack *** during, and after the run in PM's, either way, yea it is best to move on and hopefully just learn not to help out random people.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

And Alasen,swing and a miss sunshine, seriously, grab a book or something start with "Watch Spot Walk" or whatever Preschooler book you need to help. Because if you read my first entry and really actually READ it, it says that I didn't even have any of his mats that he was asking for. So, no, he wasn't thanking me for dropping the mats.0

Alasen, before you completely **** veno's everywhere by your intelligence (this includes katyzn), please read my first post again. Not once did I say anything about thanking me. It WAS TO THE SQUAD IN GENERAL, I was harping on the guy about not thanking anyone, not just me. I was reporting him to his faction for the way he was talking to me, and nublette is far from an insult considering he was noob and admitted to it. I know I noob yourself takes offense to that, but it's more of a title than an insult.
Nishi, please, next time you have a thought,just let it go. Because like Alasen, you completely missed the point I was getting it and made a completely irrevalant comment about FC. Kudos by the way, I'm sure it was worth the 5 hours you spent coming up with something. I got it!! Since both of your have tiny brains, you can put them together to figure out the moral of the story! I dont even get why anyone would help random people farm HH-stuff to being with. Than be surprised when all they get is "thanks".
Dont help randoms with anything that takes more than a few minutes. They will always be really bad players and annoy you to death, they will not be very grateful once they have their stuff, they will either keep bugging you for more help in the future - or they will quit after 2 weeks which is the most common. So you spent that hour(or hours) in HH for nothing but a headache.
There are always loads of friends/guildies that needs help with stuff, so help those guys instead of some random that is blue chatt spamming everyone thats looks above 9x lol. At least with friends/guild you know you can ask for help back in the future and the people you party will appreciate it.0 -

I replied with "either way, you need to say thank you and be more appreciative when people who don't even need this TT go out of their way to help you" I left the squad and as a left the instance I get a pm "that was a jerky comment" from the archer.

The point is, this is why you can never find clerics and barbs anymore, because when we go out of our way to help we get aholes like this guy.

I think it's more the context of the "thanks" than anything.
It's being translated as a "gee, thanks" rather than a more appreciative one.
To be fair, there could be a few reasons why you only got a "thanks" (at least you did get a thank you--I would help someone out and not even get that much). Maybe English isn't his first language, or maybe he's just a bit shy.
The dialogue thereafter shouldn't have happened. The archer fueled the fire by insulting, but that's where you should have just left it alone and spoke to an officer there. Yesterday I got bh zimo on my mystic. I was at the platform and this guy said "LFM bh59 free wine all bosses" so i joined. They saw I was only lv62 and asked if I needed bh51 instead. I told them I had zimo, and I had tabs for my fb too since they said they were doing all bosses anyways. Win Win right?
Suddenly it was like I kicked them in the nuts or something. First they ask if I had wine since it was my fb. I was like "you just said you were gonna wine for free and do all bosses, but if you want to go back on that whatever." Then they said I'd need to pay a 33k split. I said that was fine. They went on to say that I'd not get the drops from bosses. I said that was fine, I don't need any drops from them anyways.
By now I've been in this squad that went from free wines all bosses, to "great we will use your tabs and charge a split, and btw you are a noob for not using your own wine for your fb."
I told them that usually I'm the one soloing it unwined to help random people out, and most people over 70 I know don't wine it anyways fb OR bh because its so damn easy. I didn't actually say that last part tho.
Four minutes go by and I don't see any more shouts for more people, and no one else is joining. Then I see one of my friends (a 101 cleric) is on asks me to do bh100 with them. Since the bh59 squad wasn't going anywhere and I was already annoyed at them changing their tune about the wine I say "actually I'm gonna find a different bh squad sorry b:bye"
Then like 8 minutes later this Barb pms me and says "what a haughty ***** you are! get lost! Who do you think you are!?" I was like wtf who pissed in your saucer of milk? I didn't say anything back but seriously I don't get the point of getting so pissed off at someone that leaves after excusing themselves from a squad of obviously afk people to do something else.
**** like that happens to me all the time people leaving a squad unexpectedly, sometimes mid instance if you are unlucky. Maybe they thought I had an attitude when I showed up offering them free xp and rep and to pay their sudden wine fee and split drops with them.
I ended up buying my own wines and getting a squad like an hr later and the 100 sin QQed that I wined it as they then had nothing to do in there anymore >_<
Anyways its doubtful anyone bothered reading this but thats my story of ungrateful noobs[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Just gonna say this - in your first post, you said that HE said "I said thank you" when you said he should have thanked you guys for taking him - so why do you think that he was speaking solely to the person who dropped the mats?
Besides - If someone was doing a run FOR ME, I sure as heck wouldn't thank anyone til after my mats had been dropped. Yes, he should have shared.
