Long name doesnt fit in Mail anymore!

Just wondering if anyone has had trouble posting mail to themselves since expansion?

"Doggy_Stylez" no longer fits in the User Name section of a new letter, stops at "Doggy_Styl"

I am guessing it relates to my low screen resolution (playing on Acer Aspire1 mini laptop), i have tried messing with the settings, including the new option to increase/decrease User Interface size, however to no avail.

Anyone else had this problem and found a fix?

    i've had trouble sending mail to guildmates, for this exact reason. your screen resolution is not likely to have anything to do with it. the UI refuses to let me enter more than 10 characters no matter how much space is left in the text box.

    i know people are opening support tickets about it, and i mean to do so as well, once i get my laziness over the hurdles they put in front of their ticketing website.

    I see, thanks for the reply, I am glad to know I am not the only one affected by this, lets just hope they get onto this by the next patch. (we can dream) b:laugh

    Actually, could you two take screenshots of this issue and post it here? I'll make sure to pass it on and see if this can get fixed soon.

    Who exactly are you passing it on to? Do GMs only look at the "Circle of Doom" forum now?

    GM can just log in and check it out. No need for SS really. Just pass it on.

    I'm able to type 12 characters into the "To:" field. Not sure why some of you are being limited to 10; are you using the old UI through that .ini fix? Or are you using the current UI.

    Screen shots would be helpful.

    I also had the 10 character problem when I was running the old IU, but after the last patch fixes I decided to chang back to the new skin. The new skin lets me fit all 12 characters in now.

    Thanks Shelly and frankie for getting back to me, it seems that the .ini fix IS the problem for me... when i went back and changed it to new user interface AND REBOOTED GAME, I was able to type 12 characters again.

    Sadly this leaves me stuck with new user interface which is just toooooo chunky for my little laptop screen. Plz pass on my begging to the Devs for a working old interface option!

    i'm using the old UI. i'll try to switch back to the new one and see if that does anything --- but frankly, even if it does fix this issue, i'm still not switching over to the new UI. in-game mail isn't important enough to me to put up with the drawbacks of the new skin.

    a screenshot --- sure, i can provide that. it'll show a send-mail dialog with ten letters in the to: field, and you'll have to take my word for it i can't type in any more. if you really think that'll be helpful, yeah, i'll include that in the ticket once i get around to writing it up.

    use a screen recoder and send a X-second video. it would probably provide more helpful if you can show it in real time
