Glowing Weapons

Ok, here is my question.
How do you get a weapon to glow?
Stones in sockets?
Enhancement?
I have no idea!
Sometimes I buy a weapon and it that says made by XXXXXXXX and it glows even though it has no stones installed and no enhancement.
However some items like claws don't.
Fists always glow no matter what.

If I buy a weapon or find one, how do I make it glow?
I have asked many players in game and they either won't give me an answer or they can't.

Some weapons glow blue, some green some red etc.
What makes that happen?
Please help me out here.

    Glows:

Stars: a weapon has between 1 and 3 stars. They are represented to the left of the weapons name. If it is 1 star, then it will look kinda like this: *<weapon name>, two star like: **<weapon name>. Now then, for glows.

Blue Glow=3 star normal weapon, or 2 star tideborn weapon.

    Purple Glow=3 star tideborn weapon

Yellow Glow=Legendary Weapon (requires mold and mats to make), or TT Gold weapon

Green Glow=FCC green weapon, or TT green weapon

Red Glow=FCC Gold weapon, or End Game weapon

Adding shards does not add glow to the weapon, how 2 flawless shards of the same type will give a particle effect around your hands.

    Some weapons glow blue,
the blue glowing weapons are normally weapons you get as quest rewards, they are similar to NPC grade weapons with a few add-ons.
    some green,
the green glowing weapons are weapons you get from dungeons such as HH(TT), such dungeons also give gold and orange weapons.
    some red.
red glowing weapons gain there glow from buffs an example of such a buff is the new Seeker buff called "Northern Sky Waltz".

Yup, that, and the Socketing entry in the PWI wiki explain the various things that make weapons glow and sparkle.
