Can someone tell me whether Falling Petals (heal over time) stacks.

I have a question, does this heal only work when you are in battle or when something is damaging you? I used it yesterday and it did nothing and then I read the description and it said heals you while you battle or something to that effect.0 -

Maybe it doesn't stack considering the 1 minute duration for the healing trigger. (b:surrender)
Maybe you can try easy test it like spamming petal while being attacked by mob, check is petal stack or not.
(had 2 second cooldown tough and higher mana cost but basically heal same amount with ih)
Who know if the entire casted petal in 1 minute duration all triggered on the same time ?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

What does 1 minute trigger time mean? It does not start working for one minute after being cast? When I used it I did not heal, only two ticks per second standing.0

It means that the buff duration is 1 minute. And if you get hit during that one minute, it activates the heal.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I suppose as a buff, you couldn't stack multiple FP to be triggered all at the same time when the target gets hit.
But what about a tank getting multiple hits over time and the mystic spamming FP. Can a 2nd FP be cast *after* the 1st FP has been triggered?
Consider this sequence:
Suppose the barb is tanking and is being attacked every second.
At time=0, I cast FP.
At time=1, the FP is triggered and for the next 9 seconds the barb gets healing over time.
At time=3, I cast FP again.
At time=4, the 2nd FP is triggered (barb is hit again).
In other words, what happens if you spam FP on a tank?0 -
In this game all "over time" effects can stack while normal buffs cannot.
This should mean that the heal over time effect from falling petals can stack while the falling petal buff itself cannot. If the target is being attacked at a rate equal to or higher than the rate you are buffing them with falling petals than the target should get fully stacked heals.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Agreed. However, the Falling Petals buff icon stays on the buffed player until the heal over time is finished, and doesn't bring up a healing icon to specify when the buffed player is being healed. This is what leads me to believe that 1 of 2 things would happen when a second FP is cast while the first is healing.
1. The second FP would have no effect, and the first would continue the heal like normal
2. The second FP would override the first and stop the first from finishing it's HoT.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

It works this way it lasts 1 minute and it heals 9 seconds after the target is attacked with that system I dont think the amount of hp healed would stack.b:surrender I love necroing

IH is a buff, MP recovery skills are buffs.0 -
Hmm I had a thought about this recently. I started doing cube again lately (hadn't since my 60s or so lol). In the 100 sec stand rooms if I cast Falling Petals upon myself, it never activates as I'm being hit by the Fate Executioner mob (or whatever he's called, the one in the center). But if I'm hit by the little walker mobs it activates.
Idk, sometimes the rules for these kinds of buffs confuses me lol.
Just like Absorb Soul is sometimes resisted by some mobs even when they don't list any kind of immunities at all... wish I could remember an example.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I think the flying wurm things by Raging Tide city resist it. They're elemental immune although the skill does describe it as a non-elemental attack, so idk.0

The middle mob deals no damage, like absorb soul.
If your hit with a skill that does not register in the damage log it will not trigger petals because you are not technically being hit, like the Do-all pk rooms0 -

when spamming FP on self in the cube during those 100 sec stand instances, it seems to have no extra affect than if just casted once and active0

This only heals when under attack, being hit. Aka with every blow you receive HP does not go down but up for nine seconds? I always understood it like that?
