Is STR or VIT necessary?

I'm thinking of going pure MAG build for my Mystic but something keeps telling me that I need to add 1 STR or 1 VIT for every other level. I know that this can be a silly question to a lot of players but I just want a second opinion on this matter.

of course you need STR, only minimum required to level armors and weapons though. as for VIT, thats totally up to you. at lower lvls it helps a lot. at higher lvls, u can survive without it as long as you have high refines, citrine shards, accessories with added health, etc, something along those lines.
