no seriously, the default of this forum is apparently making it so when I hit the stupid quote button, it ends up not being the right person, unless I hit the multi quote button, which sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. Probably the most confusing forum set up I have ever encountered where the default does too many things -.-
edit: If I remove irrelevent quotes, it erases all quotes from the box -.- and making this edut when it saves is sure to bring me to an error page where it doesnt locate the topic (but the edit will go through, just makes me navigate)...what ever happened to forums where you could quote people and choose to multi quote if you desired only, and the damn thing actually didnt give you errors every 10 seconds...0 -

^weirdest game bashing arguement I ever heard. If I wanna interfere with your farming time even, I can constantly whisper you. You can't stop whispers without blacklisting. Hell, people still promote the hate and blacklist people that use horns, they're just using their stashes. Most of those people never use a horn again, cause they arent buying another stash and a hammer to get more.

Why the red spam? red spam works. see someone on a roll, you buy packs hoping to catch a wave. You see results really do come from them. Of course it's marketing. If the game didnt make money it wouldnt be playable -.-
i can also filter out faction chat if i need to read local chat if i were a cleric doing gv and needed to pay attention to timer, or doing nirvana and needed to pay attn to chat for ashura tyrant spam
there r more options than this u just obviously dont know the interface very well.. plz no more lectures until u learn a bit more

My direction from perfect horns was meant here, it reflects my all over anti eden persona. Because this person, whoever they are, just screams cash shop this, cash shop that, internet addiction and as mentioned in this very forum topic: the belief it comes from being a "paying customer" that allows people to freely bypass rules, as if pwi checklists such people and marks them as special. In this way apparently they move about their lives exploiting rules. And so began my breakdown of being furious about every post I have seen from eden :P0 -

ok i get what the hell you're sayign about the quotes now.... the site can't quote more then like 5 psts at once or something from Multi. And it's also stupid to the fact that if you dont' hit Mutli b4 you hit Quote... your text box will probably be blank. Just make sure you hit multi, then quote, then after your post go back and turn multi OFF from the post u just quoted. Yes this site works really stupidly.. but tht's how it works... heh
As for the rest of that last post..... so you're purposefully derailing a very important thread to bash someone else who had said something completely relevent? And you're bashing her over a topic now that has NOTHING to do with THIS THREAD?

This was true of the MY client, and (I believe) the first few months of PWI. Not completely certain, but I believe that PWProtector prevents multiple clients from loading.0 -

well i know u can multiclient. all i had meant was i was told from a staff member(konari?) i dont remember who exactly, but i was told its bannable because of editing the files to allow a second client to run. but now that the game allows u to open another client within itself there is no need for it to be bannable. because now its a file in the game that allows u to do this.0 -

As someone else said, at this point it's purely a policy decision. It's bannable because they say it is. They don't need a good reason (or any reason at all, for that matter), and the likelihood of any response other than "It's not allowed" and closing the thread pretty much asymptotically approaches zero the more the question gets asked...0 -

1 dont need to edit any files to do multiclient.. they probably meant editing the look of ur character? thats also bannable
2 they r far more likely to enforce forum policy about even discussing the "how to" multiclient and punishing in game character looks said in the previous answer than doing multiclienting in game

Multi clienting and modding how your TOON looks are completely different and i dont' think they've ever been dumb enough to confuse the two when people ask what THIS thread is about.. lol

The better ingame solution would be to make a better shop SYSTEM. We have the auction house, and in the past (2008) people were never charged coin for that, then they charged an 'fee' for putting things in the auction house. There you go. More catshops.
If you had a better distribution of cat shops around Archosaur, it might be slightly better. You could do this by having a check on the distances people are setting up cat shops with in the location. But this doesn't work cause all the richer coin players get the prime location.
Other alternatives: Charging people coin to set up a cat shop in a safe-zone (but this doesn't really work cause it is more of the fee charging (just like the auction house). I suppose in many ways its interesting enough that they have the cash shop expansion item which gives you more sale space in said shop.
What would be slightly better is if you could stake a claim to an area and leave the shop there. While you go out and do whatever it is you do. No other shops could be within 5 meters of your shop. You could also make a dungeon for said catshops to stay in, which could make West Archosaur less crowded.
But these ideas have been mentioned before in the past and Perfect World as a company didn't do anything.
Then again the april fool's day joke from 2010 might not be such a bad idea after all (bigger cat shops with more small items you can buy.)
All I have to say is if you're computer is to old and your playing for free. Upgrade your computer. Mine can handle it. "Oh but I get disconnected and my client crashes when I'm in Archosaur" -- in short 'Minimum Specs' don't have it any more on a 4 to 5 year old game.
Time won't wake/make you wiser, but it will definitely wound you.
