What is APS?

Yeh I wondered that ever since yesterday seeing things as 'Aps will be nerfed'
'5.0 Aps Barb' and just now a topic with 'HA Aps Mystic'

Ive been around pwi for a long time (not this char obviously)
But the never heard of APS. Probably initials for something I guess

Anyone want to tell me? b:pleased

    Attack Per Second 5 APS means that u attack 5 times with normal attack in 1 second which DPS (Damage Per Second) is insane
