Can't play with earthguards

i just installed the new genesis expansion, but when i try to play with the earthguard, the character don't have any hair, and when the black loading screen appears i get a wierd message in something i think that it's not really a language and when i click OK or click the message away the game crashes and turns itself off, does anyone know how i can play with my earthguard character? (and when i created it, it does had hair) please help me! b:sad
