Genesis Update Failuregt

I have tried for the past 7 hours to get this update to work. I've restarted my lappy, I've reinstalled the game twice using filed already existing and once deleting them all. I don't know what else to do, but this consistent pop-up saying that it's failing and will auto-try has gotten old real fast. Someone, PLEASE tell me what to do.
