    What's wrong in the picture is he/she never received Perfect Stones from that chest. Instead, they already had p-stones in their inventory, and linked those. Whatever you get from the chest, a tan-colored message will appear saying you acquired the item(s).

    p stones DO drop from
    Dim Nirvana Palace Chest
    and
    Bronze Nirvana Palace Chest

    but yea... they dont drop form the silver and gold chests so either he alrdy had the p stones in invent and linked that or he got em from opening a bronze or dim chest from one of the previous bosses
