which is the best weapon for this level?

i am leaning towards Endless Ambiguity because of the bonus HP and channeling. I am however worried about my magic attack since this weapon does not give the most mag attack bonus in this level.

other options are Glaives of divinity, wheel of life, and yaksa.

The best possible weapon a lvl 80 can wear in game is this. However that's not even remotely going to happen. The 2nd best possible weapon would be this. This probably won't happen either.

The most practical weapon would probably be the Yaksa or the Endless Ambiguity. The +dex mod on the Wheel of Life is useless unless you're an LA mage. Personally, I like the +pdef on the Yaksa and the +crit over the +hp and -chan. Although, if you're planning on getting the Wraith Conqueror when you're lvl 90 then you should go for the Endless Ambiguity.

If you're planning on looking far into the future at the lvl 99 weps, I'd say Inferno-Heaven Ravager:Souless is probably the best option. This requires the Yaksa -> Innocent Reverie though.

Ultimately, the decision is up to you.

The Way I would Suggest it would be,

    AA: Yaksa
    LA: Endless Ambiguity
    Pure Damage: Wheel of Life.

Thats how I see it, anyways,

    Glaives of divinity is ****.

It's either Yaksa or Endless Ambiguity.
    So, pdef/crit vs. hp/chan.

I'm a crit nerd, so I used yaksa, but it's personal preference.

Also, what fizban said about future weps is good, but sadly, it doesn't really matter that much when r8 is only like 3x the cost of a tt99 wep.

72g might hard to farm as a lowbie wiz. For the mats to make the TT99 gold wep from an innocent reverie, it costs ~3.6m. With 700k gold, the 200k rep costs 51.4m which is ~14.3x the cost assuming the innocent reverie and all the previous tt weps are sunk costs.

Endless was a good chice for me as i was working on -chan gear. Wasn't the most powerful at +4 with 2 x immac sapphires, but kinda good that you won't steal aggro too.

It will be good enough to get you through until level 85 and you can get the Aquadash. This glaive ROCKS!! Hits really hard, even with only 1 x immac sapphire (1000 socket stones to get 2b:shutup) and a +5 refine. Can finally start 1 shoting players with BIDS or BT. Will probably keep until lvl100 R8

It depends on your build. If you're a -chan build go with a -chan magic weapon, noting that there are very cheap FF gold weapons at 85. My wizard was a crit build so I went with the Sakra-devanam-Lundra at 80 and used it until 99.

I'd almost have gone for that one if it didn't auto-bound.. back when HH80 weps were worth something I wanted to be able to resell it lol

The channeling from endles is only really good if you stack it with other channeling.
At your lvl that means either expencive rings, or mag def orns (also expencive, and they mean your surviviablilty is ****).

Crit however is easy to get on rings (so easy to stack) and more usefull as DPH class. Both that and the phys def is extra usefull with your stone shield (from Yaksa)

I had endless ambiguity on my cleric and rocked since I had lots of other -channeling gear. I don't plan to have as much on my wizard, and am going for more crit so I'm getting yaksa on it.
