I don't want this to be a which class is stronger question but if it sounds like it sorry.
I just wanted to ask between a wizard and archer which do you think would fair better when these two new classes come out?( i wouldn't dare touch either of them they aren't for me) currently i have a 74 veno but that's just gotten old and tiring so i want something new. Any and all perspectives given would be appriciated as well as any extra information i may need to know.
Thanks youb:bye

Archer PvP was interesting. But I like Wiz as well.

I couldn't put up with mana dependancy, so I chose archer.

I like archer more when I want an actual challenge.

Wiz PvP is too easy to me... but that's partly because I mostly do group PvP on my wiz anyways and there's too many people running around with **** for refines (aka 1-shot heaven).

Tl;Dr Version: Depends on your gaming preference.

    Long Version:
Both involve different styles of gameplay.

One thing in common though, is that you need to invest quite a bit of coin into either one to make it even remotely competitive, unfortunately.

Contrary to what the person above me posted, I believe that both are quite 1v1 capable (I can't recall many times where I've group pvpd).

Archers are more dps than wiz (best at dph) - both can be equally threatening, although to different classes (archers are better at killing squishies, and wizzies are better at killing melee classes). Wizzies can also bypass charm a lot easier being dph-based.
Wizards will have better pdef/mdef endgame, but archer's antistun and 79 speed skill are invaluable (archers are by far, more kiting-dependent). If you have the cash to invest in vac powders though, this won't matter much. Archers will also have a bit more hp.

Overall, you can see both can be on par with equal gear/lvl, although in different ways.
