PvP PvE server difference

Can somebody tell me the differences between PvP and PvE servers.

I get that PvP is based on that, but what real differences does it have from PvE servers?

    In a pve server, you choose when you pvp. You do not pvp unless you feel like doing so.

    In a pvp server, other players choose when you pvp. You will do pvp if you want to or not, at anytime someone else wants you to, you are forced to do it.

    Two other notes:

    1) PvP doesn't happen until level 30. On PvP servers it's automatic at level 30, and on PvE servers Player Killing (PK) mode becomes an option at level 30.

    2) You can't PK someone inside a safe zone (most cities), so there are places where you're safe from PK even on PvP servers.
