Well, I wouldn't really level it too much if at all until you can max it, because it is really only good in combination with sparking and Wolf Emblem, or in PK when you want to increase your chances of getting a good crit. Because of that, if you get too many crits with it, you can steal aggro extremely easy, and suddenly sushi is back on the menu for the hungry Barb.

Really, I'd leave it at level one until you get your other important skills maxed. It's a great skill, but in some ways it is too great if you don't know how to use it right. Besides, I already get off 5-7 crits in a row from it from time to time. Any more often and I would be tanking more than half the time. It's not because I can't control my aggro, I just love to see how high and how often I can hit high on bosses.

    Still, just my personal opinion.

Max it if you plan on aoe pvping with Bramble Rage. Otherwise, you'll rarely use it.

Didn't lvl powerdash until i reached lvl 90 because i never saw a real use for it.

Since powerdash uses up sparks, the only way to combine it with sparking is by using inner harmony or cloud eruption.

The combo triple spark - IH/CE then powerdash is indeed awesome. Not only does your APS increase, your critrate increases as well. But be prepared to take aggro a LOT.

I think it's good for soloing but in SQ, esp with a tank, i suppose it's less of an advantage unless you wanna take constant aggro.

Haven't tried it in pvp/tw situations, but my guess is that it's best used when you can stun the player, then spark - Inner - pdash - auto atk. If you're lucky enough you'll land quite a few crits :)

Maybe someone with more pvp experience on that can shed some light on it ?

I love powerdash, it's a great skill but not really worth maxing till 90/95+

I use it mostly when there is another sin, instead of subsea cause they probably do that. Or on bosses that are immune to amps.

I can't really see a reason not to max it actually. At endgame spirit shouldn't really be a problem anyway.

Stealth > Wolf Emblem > Double Spark > Tackling Slash > Powerdash.

Works well for killing people whether you're using auto-attacks or CoD skillspam. However, I'm more likely to Double Spark > Wolf Emblem > Headhunt or Subsea out of stealth, Headhunt on solo targets to see if I can one-shot them, Subsea (and Mire) if they're grouped and I'm going for multiple kills in a short amount of time.

Most of the time, though, I've noticed people are more likely to AD/Expel when they see Subsea, rather than Powerdash. 99% of my PVP experience is in TWs, though, so take that as you will...

...And I rarely ever combine it with Bramble, but it's on a different genie than my Absolute Domain (should really get around to making a PVP onry genie), which I'm spamming in TWs the second I come out of stealth. Next TW I'll make sure to try it out.

I have an Infliction genie, put it's Str up to 55, its Vit up to 20, and rest into Mag. It has Second Wind, Tangling Mire, Holy Path, and Alpha Male. Mine though is meant mostly as a compliment to AoE grinding with the Tangling Mire, as it allows even more damage to be done after HF and SS, as well as pulling aggro if the tank dies and a BM isn't able to take up the tanking role. It's also become quite useful in those FC's where the Barb and BM fail, forcing me to take the tanking role on pulls.

Save your spirit/xp for yourself. If you really want a better genie, it's probably faster to grind coins than it is to grind spirit (before FC). Honestly, though, start worrying about that sort of thing when you're 80 or 90 and have some of your endgame gear lined up, first.

Wouldn't hurt to have a cheap genie with utility skills on it, though, depending on what you do. (The only reason I have a Bramble Genie is so I get another decent aoe for FC, to be honest...and it still isn't anywhere near as damaging as Rift, even still.)

My own genie has holy path (handy for following barbs and fast fc runs), second wind (just in case), absolute domain, relentless courage (wil lbe replaced soon) and Cloud eruption.

Although sins have chi building skills, cloud eruption comes in very nice, esp when you don't have the high aps yet. It allows you to spark more and use more chi consuming skills.

And i find AD to be great when in squad. Cleric under atk or in danger ? AD and they got time to cast an extra heal or crab instead of dying and leaving the rest "unprotected"

My second genie is just for pulling in instances (esp soloing). Still working on that one though.

Hmm, I have an "outside/solo/grinding/pvp" genie with Second Wind, Tangling Mire, Wind Shield" and an "instance/squad genie" with earthflame and others to be determined... For those not yet 89 and triple sparking windshield gives 10% attack speed and i think 6 or 7% damage absorption at lvl 1 for only 35 energy. You can spam this if you want cause it's only a 1 sec cooldown and lasts for 8 secs. 1 additional second for every 50 dex but my other skills require that my genie be strength.

edit: Spam prolly not the right word as after 3 uses most genies will be out of energy... but in a tough fight you could easily have 24-29 secs of +10% attack speed and 6 or 7% damage absorption.
