Gear Sharding

While I know it's always a matter of "choice" I would like some help on this one. I am getting to that point where sharding gear is becoming important since I will be wearing it for more than a couple weeks. The set of gear I wore from 40-60 was decent and a hand-me-down from an archer. It was sharded with garnets. I rather like sharding with citrines (mostly because my favorite color is purple). As an assassin, which would be better for me? I do have a base of about 30 Vit or so.

    Generally speaking, citrines/vit stones are better for sins because it helps us avoid one-shots better than garnets do.
    Also, I had garnets in my armor for a while, then changed to citrines. I find the extra few hundred HP to be much more beneficial than the tiny bit of Pdef the garnets provide.
