I can't quite understand the theme with friend list.

1. Is there a limit?

2. If there is, how is it supposed to work?

By reputation? (higher reputation = higher list?)

Or is it standard for all players?

3. Why should there is a limit? ( If 1. is confirmed)

If any1 knows please reply

Thnx in advance.

I believe there is a limit. I'm not that popular so I don't know first hand. It's a set limit for all players no matter the level or rep or anything like that.

    What FatherTed said.

As for why there's a limit, I'm guessing it's to keep people from just adding everyone they meet to their FL. It doesn't work too well in that regard.

    1. Yes there's a limit of 100 people on your friends list.

    2. I have no idea what you mean by "higher list"... you can create groups for your friends and when they're logged in they show up near the top of the list. When they log out they go to the bottomo of the list. When you first log in and none of your friends are on they are ordered by how you added them to FL oldest to most recent.

    3. Computers always have limits, however the limits can be made so high as to effectively be unlimited. Some dev back in the ancient days of PWI probably thought "100 friends ought to be more than enough for anyone," and so it was coded that way. I do wish the limit was higher because I frequently have to manually choose who to boot in order to add new friends. At least it'd be nice if there was a sort feature so you could order the list by when your friends last logged into the server, but you have to manage it manually if your list is near 100 entries.

Edit: If you have 100 and try to add another, it may add to their list but it will silently fail to add to your list. It'd be nice if we could at least get a warning about trying to add to a full ist >.<

Yea, there should be a warning or at least a message like your list is at limit or nearly full or smthing

but I think the limit is still 2 low

    Because it's insignificant?

My barb's FL is pretty much full, most of whom no longer play or only semi-log in once or twice a month. My sin, on the other hand has my wife and most of her alts (she had 16 at last count) and a very small handful of faction friends added, which again, is mostly black.

95% of all your squad needs can be done with pick up groups (PUGs) via world chat. Friends in game are more or less a luxury, not a requirement.
Some people risk to employ me

Some people live to destroy me

    Either way they die

You'd be surprised. Luckily most HH runs I've taken part in have gone well for the most part but non-instance bosses almost always fail if there isn't a higher level to pull everyone through.*

Friend list is my people-who-don't-fail list.

*Not counting the times the squad disbanded due to lack of a 90+ barb and cleric.
