The server is down. something is wrong with it, be it the character database or something else. do not panic, for you were not banned or ****. You will probably be able to log on or update in 1-24 hours

    Usually they get the servers back up and running pretty quickly though.

    I agree, I really hope it doesn't take 24 hours, some really ticked off people will be QQing in WC ~forever~b:sad

    I gave the wide range so no one flames me for being wrong in the event it lasts say 9 hours for whatever reason.

    Technically Dreamweaver is an Eastern server so I think the majority of users are from the East Coast of the Americas and Europe.

    i'll repeat what others have posted. Thanks for posting.

    As far as being an East Coast Server. I don't think it matters. I'm in Central Time Zone, USA, and I don't think I've met anyone in my same time zone in game..... I'm not complaining, just saying.

    Anyone can play on any server however the servers are made for specific time zones. People on slower internet connections will have a longer ping on a server farther from their location and a shorter ping on a server closer to their location. It may not be a noticable difference but on the game's computation level, it might be. Some computers are capable of over 100,000 computations in a millisecond and if its a .05 millisecond difference the computer knows it.

    Interesting, I did not know it made that much of a difference. Still, I would not say mostly... since I know so many from the west coast. But, perhaps, thats just my luck. Haha b:chuckle
