Running in the spot - bug

i've experienced it on my bm and on my sin.
i just see myself running in the same spot. how to fix this ? is there something i can do ? some skill ? anything ?
for now..only thing that fixes it is relog. but dont wanna relog with my buffs ON all the time and its so irritating to look at it as well so...
i wish someone tells me what to do when it occurs or what to do so it doesnt occur anymore at all

    Whenever it happened to me it was because I kept spamming attack skills, or more specifically, the attack thing (I have set on F1) but after I stopped smooshing my poor keyboard with endless spamming, I found it occurring next to never.

    Only way I could fix it was either to teleport through NPCs or relog.

    thanks yanami...thought that was the case anyway...spamming the attack button like a mad man...
    when i dont do it its ok..

    @ nana mango are you a robot or ? read my post again then exclude your line "try restarting your pc or temp log off and back on"

    i pretty much stated i do not wish to do that.

    When you encounter issues that you know the solution for to fix it, and you do not want to do what fixes it, there isn't much we can do other then to say "please try this to fix X".

    Restarting your network hardware can fix a variety of issues. Getting in the habit of unplugging it from electricity once a week for a few minutes can help tremendously. b:victory

    You can also try running Verify on the game launcher and logging back in.b:sad
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    this was the reason i removed my sin. got so pissed of on this running in place bug. however i ehar form ppl it doesnt happen as much anymore now, so i regret i removed it D:. o well.

    problably related to old barb bug with beastial rage :P. that skill was reason for the barbarian run in place bug xD if i remmeber right back in the day :X

    i understand what you saying darthpanda but i come and ask for help when i run out of the common solutions such as "restart pc", "restart router", "verify files", "jump", "cast spell" etc...

    i think fly can fix it when its outside but when it happens in instance its hardly jump can fix it nor fly so...
    have you guys evert thought of implementing mmm i dont know...some sort of "refresh button" for inside of instances or something "outside of combat" where it would get your char refreshed...like disappear for a second and appear back after... i dont know i am just throwing ideas :)

    xD When I jump, I end up hovering in the air, looking like I'm frozen in a middle of a jump. Glad no one else can see it because on my screen, I look like an idiot, LOL.

    Baalzor - I remember doing PQ one time for level 95+ and as soon as I got to the platform thingy there, I got the running glitch. I tried flying but once I did, my character started to jerk back and forth really fast. Was amusing for a few seconds but quickly got annoying. XD So I don't think flying helps.

    exactly what u said... "frozein in a middle of a jump".. ugh...
    it must have been cause of the bind key for "Normal Attack" which is spammed with APS classes :D
