Joining Guilds

How do you find guild during in play activity? Like, I really want to join a faction but I know absolutely no one and actually don't run into too many people either...

    well, you're level 9; that's still early days.

    even so, in the levels to come, don't be afraid to squad with people you see running around doing more or less the same thing as you are. talk to them, if you get the chance; ask them if they know anybody, or if they have other characters in a guild. try to be social and make friends.

    once you hit level 19 and get the ocean tusker quest, ask for help with it in raging tides city. (you'll need a squad for that anyway, so you might as well practice squadding with people early on.) whoever you get help from for that, ask them if they know of a good guild you could join.

    if after all that you still have no luck, at level 20 you'll be going to archosaur --- otherwise known as random guild invitations HQ. walk around that town unguilded for a while, you're bound to get asked to join some group or other.

    LenieClarke has some good suggestions. Getting a faction gets easier the higher level you are.

    That being said, you might also keep an eye on world chat (WC) for advertisements to join factions. Keep in mind that most good factions have level minimums.
