Simple Question re: room 47

I'm a little bit at a loss as to how to do Room 47 uncharmed. I can handle both the other 100-Second Stand rooms fine, but this one always stops me unless I go in after someone else, or if I shell out event gold (which I don't have much of) for a charm. I never carry enough do-alls for this room, and if I did, I'd consider it too big an expense to waste them. So last night I hit 47 again, and I thought I'd try it with the resources I have, just as a "may as well" situation. I lasted maybe 50-60 seconds before the center mob's DPS just became too much.

Resources I have include:
Roughly 4600 HP unbuffed, up to 5900 buffed
Crab Meat Jiaozis
Regular Small Life Potions (never used due to crab meats)
Dark Green Orbs (6000 HP / 30 sec apoc)
Tree of Protection Lv10 on genie (and another genie with Second Wind instead, but ToP is better). The genie is Dex-based along with 50 Mag (it can recover its energy to use ToP before the cooldown finishes, so I can use it a grand total of twice)

The apoc kept me alive along with the crabmeats for the 30s it was active, and of course ToP worked splendidly, but their cooldowns were just too much. When those ran out, I tried a hail-mary spark just to give the crabmeat time to work - this bought me maybe 7-8s in total.

We don't have any healing skills, and anything that reduces or absorbs damage (Winged Shell, Def Level, any form of Pdef, Mdef or Bless buff) seems to be ineffective on that center mob. So I'm feeling pretty "out of options" right now. Short of buying charms, is there anything I might've overlooked? In general, how do you guys handle room 47?

What I would do, had I the means, is equip fists with interval gear and take advantage of the 20% HP regen and immunity from rapid sparks while spamming apothecary potions and HP food. It may just be a pipe dream seeing as archers don't get BP, but it's a thought.

burn charms, same as BM do. Or have a special genie with high mag and ToP/Second wind on it. Spam that with crab meat and you should be able to pass

You assume I want to use an -int fist or the gear necessary to make this even plausible. Leaving aside for a moment that we shouldn't assume such a thing about any archer, if I had the money to do that, I could just buy do-alls instead.

Again, my genie has enough Mag to recover its energy for ToP before the cooldown on it is finished. ToP and Second Wind both have a 60-second cooldown, IIRC, meaning they can be cast twice at most.

    Any other ideas?

Run to the corner, pop all your survival aids, and force log.

When you relog, if you did it right, the center mobs will no longer be aggro'd on you. If you did it wrong, you'll be back at room one.

Ironguard Powder -> force log generally does it.

My strategy for the other 2 rooms is to fist the central mob and take advantage of the spark healing (yes yes i know archers are supposed to use only bows but this saves me charm and pot cost)

As for room 47, its cheaper for me most of the time to simply give the 8 do alls (4k DQ points) or redo from room 1 (my current take on it) since dice tickets cost like 330 coins each and 50 of them definitely would be cheaper than a charm/crab meats/genie enery/pots/etc.

I tried this strategy last night in Room 9 (just as a test); my gf saw my character log out (as far as her FL was concerned) well before the damage would have killed me. Yet when I relogged, I was in room 1 with the timer still ticking. The timer ran out and I got my Puzzle Cube back at least, but I wasn't sent back to the entry point for Room 9.

And what kind of APS is required for that? The only piece of int gear I equip is 90 gold bracers, so I'd never have that kind of chi regeneration. And even if I wanted it, as you said that'd only work for the first two rooms...

This has not escaped me (dice fluctuate between 350-500 on HT as well). My issue was less with money (except charms and do-alls are a premium IMO) and more with time; I spend too long in the cube as it is, especially considering how I can't resist selling my bully cards to a catshop if I should hit 46. XD

So is this the consensus? Equip stupid amounts of APS gear or continue to accept 47 as an instant-fail room? If so I'll have few problems doing the latter, but it's still disappointing to have no other viable options.

Well... Dont forget to use Wings of Grace or Winged Shell. Both of these are helpful (Absorbs damage and reduces damage)

Also, Absolute Domain (Genie skill) is helpful, Iron Guards or Sutra (or any other apoth that gives invincibility or reduces Damage), Spark whenever you have it, and crab meat.

I can get through 47 unbuffed, without a charm easily with the above ^^.

Use Tree of Protection 20s in so that you can use it again with 20s left. Between the ToP cooldowns is where you need to use a lot of tricks to survive.

Don't forget about elixers (purple pots). If you have demon serrated arrow you can cast cancel that repeatedly to get a bit more healing. Using Wings of Grace 3 times is a bit better than demon spark if you have less than 10k hp. Just make sure to be eating crab meat during the invulnerability. Ironguards are good but I normally just use samsara wheels because I'm cheap.

You need 10 seconds before force log takes you out of the game. I am not sure when people get their friend list notification, but that could easily be when force log starts rather than when it completes.
