i put my safety lock for an hour and i put it back to a minute cause i did not want it that way. it has been 3 days now and it still is unchanged! and when i set it to a minute, it continued to say i had it for an hour once i logged back in or a few minutes passed. so whats going on?! its like impossible to play now with a safety lock that is set to an hour. its annoying and i hate this. i set it to a minute, its been 3 days, why is it not set for a minute?! b:angry

Something very much like this happened to me the first time I messed with my SL too. I'd set mine for 3hr for the "fight the GM" event a while back and it was stuck like that a few weeks even though I counted out what I was sure was 3 days. I'd reset then count days and try again and this went on about three weeks until I FINALY got it, by which time I was seriously happy my inventory and bankk space is maxed because I had a lot to npc and by then I was poor and needed repairs bad... Any way point is dont try for 3 days because you're probably counting just 3 days and not from the exact time you set it. Go for 4 days that way no matter how bad the day count is you should be able to change it back... Oh, also every time you mess with the SL no matter if it changes back or not you have to start that 3 (4) count over because the timer resets...

Besides it could be worse, I know someone that had theirs set to 24h and quit their lvl7x character because they couldn't figure out the SLb:shutup

You have to make sure it's a full 72-hours 3 days, not changed on Monday Night, play with it Wednesday morning 3 days.

Yeah...pretty sure this is a lot more simple than other people have stated.

If you mess with your SL AT ALL during the 72 hours the time period will be reset. So basically...if you set it to 1 minute on the first day then set it for 1 minute again the next day you still have to wait 72 more hours.

Don't touch your SL for 3 days...you'll see what I mean.
