socketing

sooooo i made my g13 nirvanna dags and g15 nirvanna legs. i was to impatient to farm the coin to keep them 2 sock/4 sock so i have 1 socket g13 dags and 3 socket g15 legs. someone told me that you cant socket with socket stones past g12 though but now im hearing different from others. i cnt seem to find a thread on this sooo does any one know if you can socket g13/g15 and if so how many socket stones are needed?
is it jus me or does every thread turn into a flame thread at some point? wheres the love?? b:cry

    have you tried taking the gear to the boutique agent and seeing if she gives you an option to socket it?

    i havent. but i heard that it says u can but once u have the socket stones it dosent let u. id rather not buy the 8k stones (i ggured out how many btw >_<) and then have it not socket

    Probably necro but have you seen that all the socket stones are the same?
    they are two types you need all to say the same description
    some are white text others are purple
