Well...did this in WC earlier, and well....WC was spammed crazy with names and titles when I asked ppl to name their favorite old cartoon show, talking pre-2000s for the most part.
So I ask this question to you all.....what is your favorite cartoon show back in the days?
Non-HTers are welcome to post as well. b:flower

Yes, but by a different name - She'altiel Kwak (Hebrew for Ask a lot Kwak b:chuckle).
I just remembered a few good, old ones:
TaoTao (The panda Bear)
Little Mrs. Pepperpot
I don't know how many of you know these two...

I haven't, but I did google them, I most likely would have loved watching them as a child though. :]
@ Kritty
Bonkers, I remember that, Disney had killer morning cartoons back then. b:cool[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

@Knownase TaoTao was a story-telling cartoon where TaoTao's mother told him stories with morals (of course). They were all wonderfully animated and the stories were from all over the world. It was very emotional for a child to watch, and I recommend it very much.
Little Mrs. Pepperpot was a very funny cartoon, and one of the first Anime I ever watched (oh man, we used to call that Japanimation back in the 80s!).
Oh man, how could I forget about Niels Holgerson? b:shocked I remember that fondly 'till this very day.
Funny how intelligent old cartoons were compared to the violent, flashy shows they let children watch nowadays.

When I see cartoons of today, I'm like......"If only children of today weren't expose to such....lameness". lol
Cartoons back then, had serious concepts, and nice plots, along with comical humor.
I have some friends that actually have old recordings of their favorite shows and such, ready for their future children to watch. b:laughb:victory[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I literally have every episode ever aired of The Smurfs on VHS somewhere, I should look into converting it.

So much symbolism and mythological allusions in that show. The fact that the protagonist rarely has any speaking lines outside of his catch phrase probably made the plot for each episode that much more interesting because the way information was conveyed to the audience was so unique compared to other shows.
The first few seasons of Dexter's Lab was probably my favorite though. It had so many great parodies of other media for a show that targeted a young audience. Then they had some other producer/director take over and I stopped watching it because I couldn't get over the new character designs.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
