Level 11. Need help :(

Hewwo. Playing my psych because well I'm actually liking it heehee. But I've hit level 11. Picked up some new skills such as a skill that deflects attacks back at mobs. I notice it works on magic attacks. Do I keep it leveled and keep it active at all times?
Also I have the vodoo skills. Decreases attack but increases defense and the other. Which one do I use? b:surrender
I'm building a strength genie and picking up second wind for her. I ended up with a zeal genie. What other 2 skills would you suggest? Holy Path?

keep up the deflect skill at all times, and use the atk+ voodoo, unless you need to tank a miniboss or something, or are running from a lot of mobs. get holy path and second wind on your genie.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

huum you mean soul of vengeance right? that's a lvl9 skill xd
there is not point in leveling it. it only increases range and mana cost xd
using sov:
A]grinding/questing/whatever involves killing a lot of stuff fast:
sov isnt really useful there.
you should use it only if:
(1) you cant avoid getting hit by the mob
AND (2) by using sov the mob dies and you dont have to hit it again
example: mob has 200hp. you deal 110dmg per hit, sov deals 10dmg
if the mob didnt hit u, sov did nothing -> pointless to cast it on u
if the mob hit u sov activated, used your mana but you still have to hit the mob again to kill it.
extra mana consumption and you gain nothing
you *could* let the mob hit you a lot of times. but unless u are some sort of build with crappy dmg and high hp/def letting a mob hit u isnt wise
second example: mob has 225 hp, u deal 110dmg, sov 10dmg
you hit, mob hits you, you hit again it's dead.
u used sov to save one hit and some of your mana.
however if you could hit the mob 3 times before it hits you, generally you should hit it 3 times since the loss of hp would be greater (and more expensive to replenish) that the mp cost.
B] soloing/tanking something that doesnt die fast: use it
extra dmg for some mana cost
C]not tanking
-using it on tank: due to the mana cost, barbs/bms/sins/archers dont want it.
so use it if the tank is arcane
-using it on other squad members or yourself: basically ask yourself: if there was a veno, would she cast bramble on that member?
so yeah, almsot never on cleric, you could use it on you or some other DD but there is the aggro issue..
note: if a veno tanks with pet, the pet is the tank and she is a squad member (aka sov her if she put bramble on her)
all in all, sov is a nice, tricky skill. however, pve-wise it's use is limited.
until you get the sage version that doesnt cost mana or squad with a cleric with demon IH
sometimes some barbs will ask for it; give it. you could also ask if they want it however 30% of the times the answer will be no. the rest of the times they will ask what is sov and when they hear "mana cost" they will scream "noooo" xd
now, on black voodoo: max it asap
on white voodoo: you could wait to lvl it for a while. in fact, some psys say that you should level it a lot (~lvl5) so you can get the defense levels and still deal some decent damage.
it's really up to you, whether you want absolute defense or maintain some dmg.
since you wont use it often you can leave it ~lvl3 and decide later
