genesis beta invite?

i received a ingame mail from pwe support inviting to a genesis beta, after following instructions and signing up on the site it said i would receive an application via email "within a few hours". it's been 2 days now and no response, anyone else know about this or gm/mod have any idea?

    but yea you must be stupid to trust such a obvious way to scam, if you were selected for anything...it wouldent be through bloody in game mail, jesus christ b:sweat

    let me add, change every single detail that you entered, which means password, secret question and answers etc, because if you dont change the secret question and answers at least, that hacker will just get straight back into your account, either that, or send a ticket asking PWE to lock your account till either you or they can change it.

    If you get mail ingame from PWE/PWI/etc, it would be from a GM. Meaning the "author" of the mail will be GM.

    A GM would never mail you ingame first of all.Second, the only time a GM would contact you is through email.They can already access your account info anyway.

    That's definitely an attempt in fraud, I suggest you send the details of the email you received to the team here: http://support.perfectworld.com/ and change your password as well.
