If people from Raging Tides have a discussion about the Heavens Tear server in a thread, would it belong to the RT subforums or the HT subforums?

    A serious question deserves a serious answer.

    The general rule is that threads are categorised according to the subject matter; however sub-forums are the exception.

    I would say it depends on the subject/content of the thread and is to be judged on a case-by-case basis.

    If the thread originates in the RT sub-forum, it should be moved to lower depth for lack of quality spam; if the thread originates in the HT sub-forum, it shall be put under protective custody for quality spam.

    RT is the sequel to HT, the kind that's a huge improvement to the first and takes the franchise from a mediocre game to an amazing game.

    The thread would belong in both forums simultaneously, being relevant to discussion on both servers. Since having the same thread in both forums would be spam, it would default to the lower depths.
