Okay, so my computer is broke, like for good, and it has my PWI game on it. If I get a new computer and I download perfect world or I use an external harddrive to get my stuff off and put it on a new computer will it still have my characters? Because I just got to lvl 36, and i don't want to loose all my friends and restart. Thanks for the help~

All your account info (i.e. characters etc) is saved on PWE's servers. You will be able to continue where you left off.

although your key bindings (if you've customized them) are not; you'll have to recreate any changes you've made in the "k" menu window. the hotkey bars may jump to their default spots on screen, as well, when you get set up on a new machine.

(i flip back and forth between playing on windows 7 and playing on linux. in effect, it's as if i had installed the client on two machines and play sometimes on one, sometimes the other. whenever i change certain things about how the game client's been set up, i have to do it twice over --- that bit isn't saved on the servers, just the characters themselves.)

I do the same! Yay b:victory The information LenieClarke pointed out about keybindings will be lost, but not your character information. So long as you can login to the game, your characters are there.

For once, I actually agree with you, to an extent

Archsaber, she is a new player so cut some slack for her will you, just try to remember the time you were new to this game, i believe you also had millions of hypothetical questions that you wanted to be answered.
