R8 wristguards and boots

These are very expensive and not especially powerful, but I love PKing and I refuse to turn red name. Dolls are expensive, safety lock is annoying, and red name creates a risk of dropping stuff. Because of this I'm considering getting the R8 boots and wristguards just for PK purposes: if I had full r8 gear, I could go red without a risk of dropping my gear. One thing I wanna know though: Can these get four sockets? I've only seen two people on my server that bought them and both are running around with two socket versions. They're not worth purchasing if they can't get 4 sockets, imo. So I ask...

Anyone know if the R8 boots and wrists can come with 4 sockets?

    it has a chance of getting 4 socket, but you have to spend a mil every day just to get it...

    Like Hypnos said it is possible. I guess the chances for 4 sockets are about 10%. Only the 1st time you take the quest they cost about 20 million coins. After that you can get them for 1 million like the other armor pieces (only 1 time/day).

    I would just get TT99 or save the money and get rank 9 wrists and boots.

    Can't you just get Heavenrage boots and bind whatever wrists you currently have?

    I have made my R8 boots with tokens i had in stock on main. 10 days with only 3 sockets and just 2 with max stats...

    Just need luck... i wait to have...

    when it comes to safety lock, you'll find that even if you go full bound, unless you use SL or dolls you're going to be dropping all your hp/mp/pk pots like candy. if you decide on using this gear just so you dont have to bind, i'd still recommend using SL.

    R8 seems to be better then TT99....
