So urDian and I were goofing around at West Archosaur (this is, of course, AFTER he oneshots me multiple times) and we decided to do a few tricks to further test out the Psychic's abilities:


Test 1: Does SoR reflect Red Tide's bleed?
urDian puts up SoR.
*cough* casts Red Tide.

Result: The damage was reflected back to *cough*

After this, it interested me so much that I went further, and decided to cover everything I could about the skill. (It's supposed to be very useful.)


Test 2: Does SoR reflect a cleric's sleep ability? (or friggin ANY sleep at all?)
*cough* Goes to FC and fights a boss that has this habit of putting DD's to sleep.
*cough* also fights multiple clerics with that evil godforsaken skill.

Result: Hell no. It didn't do jack diddly. I'm under the impression the skill has to be a direct contact status effect (aka: Assassin's slow/stun/sleep) in order for it to be reflected.
NOTE--Have not tested Barbarian's Garrote/Flesh Ream or Venomancer's skills on this.

Test 3: Does SoR reflect genie skills?
*cough* Goes out to SP and gets a few noobs to waste chi stones, whilst AoEing to avoid being r@ped by Assassins.

Result: A few of them were reflected, yeah. There were a few, like bramble rage, that went and bounced back.

Test 4: Are Psychic buffs PURGABLE?
*cough* Decides to duel a lowbie Venomancer for the heck of it.

Result: YES. Soul of Vengeance and Soul of Silence were NOT removed, and the Venomancer got oneshot by SoR damage, BUT Black/White Voodoo was removed with the Venomancer's purge.

Test 5: Can a silence attack be reflected by SoR?

Test 6: Can SoR reflect DoT's?
--THIS HAS NOT BEEN TESTED!--

Test 7: Can SoR reflect effects given by Psychic AoE's, like Glacial Shards?
--This has NOT been tested!--



If anybody has a list of what and what doesn't work for a Psychic as far as our buffs, do put it down. It honestly should be either stuck in the wiki, (*cough* BORN_FREE, you said you worked on the wiki, damnit) or stickied.

    if a skill deals direct dmg the effect is reflected... if it doesnt it's not.

    Seriously, lulz. This has been said a dozen times and an afternoon of PKing against a BM or Cleric could quickly teach you how it works.

    All I know is that SoR reflects the second boss in FC's bubble DoT. :>

    It's obviously magical. All psychic moves are based on magic attack, nice troll mage.

    full 3r9 +11/12 (still using immac shards though) w/o CSing, leveled to 105 spaming pv, yes i have no life =D
