Herc aggro.

Okay so, i tend to do alot of tanking for people in bh instances for guildies and such ect. Howeever, no matter how much i scream and shout please be careful from taking aggro from the herc, ofc someone manages to actually go and take aggro. <:

ofc, FCC has never been a problem, its just the normal instances. Another veno suggested to me i should get rid of the stun skill on my herc and replace it with an aggro skill. So i just wanted to get some other peoples opinion on this. Is it worth getting rid of the stun or?

Bash helps.

But it doens't help enough, people can and will steal aggro on non[?] bosses, when they get a bit bigger.

It does also do more damage, so there's that advantage.

The thing you lose is the ability to catch adds - don't leave pounce on auto, instead fire it when you need to catch quickly. The stun gives the herc time to build aggro again, providing that whoever stole notices and slows down.

I use bash as the 4th skill. Tried Roar when I first got the herc but didn't hold well on ? bosses as it resets the aggro.

BH wise just give up on attempting to holding aggro. The bosses are lvl numbered not ? bosses. Due to the squads being over the FB lvl by 10+ lvls any DD can and will steal aggro...including the cleric....and you. Then again...I've had aggro stolen off the herc on a ? boss in 3-3 by a barb in human form with nirvana axes.

BH79 (since you're lvl 90) it's just gonna be aggro ping pong if they plan on the herc tanking. Might as well just have the barb or BM (well depending on aps and/or lvl vs squad members) hold aggro.

Really it's any BH. I'll take my veno into tank 51/59 for friends/faction members. She direct tanks the bosses as it's the only way I know one person will have aggro, herc just adds DD power. If they need 69 I log my BM to tank that one.

If not using Bash (which most people assume most Hercs have), then I'd just alert your squads to that.
