Character/Server Transfer

I would love for this to happen. I know that it can be done. And I, along with thousands of others, would be more than happy to pay a large sum in order to transfer my character to another server.

Isnt there a viable way to do this?

i would think this would only be fair if the toon was reset to level 1 as part of the transfer..

..thus pointless to pay, just start a new toon on new server. if you are a cash shopper anyway it would probably be cheaper to get your toon to 100 than pay the transfer fee pwe would put in place to stop people transferring to and fro between servers every few weeks.

i notice most people suggesting this have levelled up in relative safety of pve servers and now want to go and own lowbies on pvp server 24 hours a day.. deny it if you want but its true nonetheless

This is not the case. Do not assume something if you do not know for it to be true or not. I actually want to transfer from 1 PvE server to another PvE server, which shares the same time zone, as well as the same name database. As far as regulating the process, give it a one time transfer per account. Easy as pie.

I can name a game or two that does this for a fee (as well as a gender change). I do not see why PWE cannot do the same.

To Grippie: That rule really only is enforced for General Discussion.

It does not mean that because a rule isn't enforced means you can break it.

If you had bothered to search,you would find a GM response and multiple other threads closed for suggesting your suggestion.

it may not be the case everytime, but if this is put into effect, then that is what will happen, everyone will be putting their new character's in pve server's and lvl up to 100 over thier, then transfer them back to a pvp server to own the low lvl's , when this is done only the low lvl's that cant afford to transfer accounts will remain, making the pvp servers practically full of lvl 100 pvper looking to pwn some lower lvl's

Just because other games have this feature doesn't mean PWI has to. If they say it can't be done with this game, then that's final.

It wouldnt work in Perfect world cause the way the game is, apart from the starter areas 1-20, after that only really one area to level for your level range, needs to be a few areas with quests for same levels, factions even, good vs evil w/e make it so some areas even on pvp servers are less likely to get killed at, using faction idea also means u get support from your faction.

But you wouldnt want to be accused of making a game identical to wow like other F2P Games, lol

I put a ticket in while back to get moved, was told couldnt happen. the way these F2p games work, more you spend more they'll listen to you

Although it's a beneficial suggestion , it's just not going to happen .

well you see the problem is, your character would then transfer its "money and gold " to other server which is bad...think about it. (oh yeah and your gear)
