question about addin vit

hey guys..now i have been adding 4dex and 1 str in ma state points till 85
but ma hp is about 2.6k only and i feel that it's too low so some ppl suggested that i add 4 vit and 1 str 4 the rest lvls ...what do u thing about thatb:shockedb:surrender

No, you shouldn't do that.

What are you refines? What about sockets?

For example, I got ~3,600 HP and I got +3 refines with 2-4 Flawless Citrines in my stuff, at level 81.

Adding 1 vitality per level until 85, you'd get a total of 1,092 more life.

However, I'd guess that the problem has to be in your refines and shards.

i didnt add even 1 vit from lvl 1 ,ma gear is almost all +3-2 and i have about 5 shards

I'm level 67 on my sin, and I've been 1 dex 4 str the whole entire way (well not recently, been going about 2 str/3 dex or 3 str/2 dex in the last bit of lvls before 70, so I'll have 117 str for Warsoul of Earth when I turn 70), meaning no vit added, and I'm at 3,678 health.

But of course, I have 11 flawless cits and 4 immaculates in my gear. which is 640 hp. Most of my gear is +2 to +3. Highest is +3.

Not quite sure what's going on for you if it's not the gear though

I'm at 3.9k hp on my lvl 80 pure dex sin(5 base vit)
And I don't have more then 3 flawless citrines and +2 on any of my gear pieces
And I don't have a crazy helmet like lvl 70 warsoul helmet either
So you don't need vit at all

3 base VIT. 6.1k HP at 95.

You need more shards/refines at higher levels for HP, not more VIT. You should also be using a lower level helm, not an arcane hat, for more HP.

a sin doesn't need vitality because he is not a tanker. Sin is builded to deal damage and protect cleric in PvE. From what I know, adding points in vitality just reduce the amount of damage you deal. Vitality is useless. If you want to have a non-squishy melee character, build a Barb or a Blademaster. Or wait for the Seeker! (I'm going to make one as soon as the expansion come out)

I took my vit to 50, but I plan on resetting it to pure dex when I hit lvl 100. I liked the extra vit at low lvls, but now my gear gives me much more HP than my vit ever did. I currently have over 5k HP at lvl 90 unbuffed.

And I do tank/solo a lot.

At a lower lvl it was esier for me to add vit than shard up my gear. I also skip a lot of gear because I don't feel like resharding.

Adding extra vitality is always nice if you are poor and cannot afford good refines or shards.

Never put points into vitality on your assasin, becousse your damage will start to sucks. Then you will kill monsters slow, questing slow, level slow, die more becousse monster won't die fast enough. Really bad choice if you add vitality. If you add it, make sure that you reset it at higher level tho. But if you don't wan't to spend money for resets then just don't put vit.

At lower levels, Vit will not hurt you. In fact, as long as you cap it at 50 or less, it does very little to your damage until you get to higher levels, at which time you can make money easily to buy a reset scroll and set it back to full Dex.

At level 30, 15 less Dex will not get you killed. About 200 more HP though will help you survive a hit or two.

At 60, 30 less Dex will not get you killed. About 400 more HP will let you survive an extra hit from those pesky mobs in BH51.

At 80, 40 less Dex will not get you killed. 500+ more HP will let you survive an extra hit.

Really, the difference between my hybrid Assassin and a full Dex with the same gear is about 1/2 a hit on the mob before it's dead, and at least another hit before I am. I plan to reset to full Dex later, but for now a little extra HP is useful in keeping me alive. Your experience is not the same as another, so while you like full Dex, others like Hybrid, and others still like Vit build. To each his own is all I'm saying.

Please stay pure you won't regret it. 4 dex 1 str per level. People don't keep saying that for no reason. Cookie cutter or not the majority is rarely wrong. Just watch Who Wants to be a Millionaire. When they poll the audience the majority is almost ALWAYS right. There is a reason for that...combined knowledge and experience. More dex = more damage = mobs die faster and you get more back on your Bloodpaint. Get gear with sockets and throw citrines in it. Don't over spend on lower levels though cause they fly by. Save your money for sharding and refining higher lvl gear. Just my 2 cents.
