Every weapon I have made so far to get to the end of blacksmith 6 has only had one socket. It's called luck. (I know I don't have much)

But I too am far luckier in my tailoring for some reason. I get 3-4 sockets a fair amount.

Emphasis is mine. If something does not have a 100% chance, there is not a 100% chance. Simple as that. You can literally make millions upon millions and dedicate every second of every day to manufacturing weapons for the rest of your life, and then pass the career choice down through five generations, and you still may not have made a weapon with more than one socket. It would, statistically, likely take around three billion (arbitrary number) people doing so to end up with one who this happened to, but there is always the chance that it will be you.

Games are not coded to the player. They do not have a bit of code for every single player. If your manufacturing is glitched, everybody else has the same glitch. Stop thinking you're special; you're just unlucky.

btw weapon with 2 sockets =/= armor with 2 sockets; some armors have by default 2 sockets, for some 3 sockets has a really high chance; 4 sockets is kinda rare

20% chance for 2 sockets seems incredibly generous... This is PWI after all... I wasn't able to find anything on the PWDB or the Wiki, but I'd bet it's only a 5% chance for 2 sockets on a weapon.


Edit: While I've never seen 0 sockets on a Legendary or TT weapon I've crafted, I have seen that on 1, 2 and 3 star weapons and that PWDB seems to confirm that. For example ☆☆☆Flash of Glory Handaxes

Craft Rate with 0 socket(s): 27.2727%
Craft Rate with 1 socket(s): 63.6364%
Craft Rate with 2 socket(s): 9.0909%

So only a 9% chance for 2 sockets when crafting this Level 67 set of dual axes.

I'd guess one of two things for a Legendary weapon like Calamity Axes of Blood...

1) Chance of 0 sockets is 0% so chance of 2 sockets is also pretty low like 3-5%

2) Chance of 0 sockets is non-zero so chance of 2 sockets is correspondingly higher

...but I still can't find anything in the PWDB on the craft rate for sockets on Legendary / TT

TT100 weapons are 100% chance to come out 2 socket. The rest of the items are 10% to have 2 sockets, but somehow it's glitched? Level 8 blacksmith doesn't guarantee 2 sockets. b:bye

PWDatabase used to have %s, I think for most legendary/TT weapons it's 90% 1 socket, 10% 2 socket.

I think most legendary/TT/etc armor is something like 60%/35%/5% (2/3/4).

well, with 10% chance for 2 sockets, 3 weeks making weapons, 10 weapons per week, the chance to make weapons that have less than 2 sockets is (drumroll) 4.2%

This tread is kinda lol. Complaining about glitch cuz u cant get 2 socket weapons is hilarious.

However it seems easier to get 2 sockets on low level weapons if you're Blacksmith is like lvl 7/8. Maybe OP has been crafting lvl 90-99 weapons lately and before he use to make level 60-80 ones? I always have more luck with stats and sockets when i craft lower level HH-stuff.

It also seems easier to get 2 sockets if you're not lagging, craft at certain times etc. All this is pure superstitions, my own vague theories, based on rumors tho but i choose to believe it b:chuckle.
