Are the Servers running ok?

I got dsconnected from Sanc. server around 40 mis ago (11.30am EST approx) and when i get to try logging in i get to *Log In Timeout is 40secs* screen and it gets to 20 secs and then *unable to connect to server* comes up. Ive played PW every day for over 2 yrs and never gotten past 1 or 2 secs on this screen before the char. selection page appears. Anyone else with this problem or just me? and my ISP and Net surfing is up to speed.

    Maybe one of the hops to the server went kaput. It happens to me sometimes, albeit very rarely.

    Can you even connect to other servers? Or is it just Sanctuary?

    I'm on HT, logged off about an hour ago, just tried to login and i can't. No idea why. But when i click on Server every server except HT and LC have average ms and population. HT and LC has --- in their place.

    You aren't using any program that blocks certain ports are you? Peerblock is one example.

    I only play on Sanc. so dont know about the other servers...but im surfing the net fine and logged onto here with no bother...ive tried rebooting my comp...still getting *unable to connect to server* after the log in timout screen hits 20 seconds..im mystified.

    No im not using any programs that block like Peerblock etc...meh..i was browsing the a/h and got disconnected...and just get the 20 second timeout.

    All i've got open is Firefox and PWI client. Internet is running at normal speed, i can log into Sanctuary server but i don't play it anymore so it's kinda useless..

    The reason I ask is because if it is a port/firewall issue then it just might not block every server, in which case, it's usually on your end. If it's your connection or a hop then it just might prevent you from connecting to every server which means it's on PWI's end, your ISP's, or some problem between your ISP to the server, none of which would be anything you can personally control.

    Surfing the net yet not connecting to the server is only helpful in discerning whether or not you're actually connected to the net.

    well maybe someone could pm my leader in Sanc. and tell her my issue briefly. her toons are Shy_cat or nakd_angel If i get no luck i guess i write a ticket to PW or something.

    I just checked the servers...all show good ping and good population except my server Sanc. which shows ____ so i seem to have same problem as KyyranthoX

    Ok ive checked my firewalls, anti virus and other programs, checked the forum guide on logging in issues and still find no reason why Sanctuary server reads "----" whilee the other servers show fine, or why i get 2unable to connect2 after 20 seconds on the log in timeout screen. Any suggestions guys?

    Been afk, tried to login just now and it worked, so whatever the problem was it's gone now.

    Gratz for you Kyyran...wish mine was but nope still getting "----" on Sanctuary server switch page so ive had to submit a ticket to PW. Im not a happy bunny without my beloved PW ;(
