Idea for Squad system

I know a few of you had this happen before, you're in a squad, and the leader gets Disconnected, however he doesn't log. Or you just don't like someone in the squad, period, however, the leader won't kick him, or you want to reinvite someone who did good, or something like that.

There should be a vote system for kicking a squad leader, and transfering the leadership to someone else, if its majority, then it goes through.

I know a few of you had this happen before, you're in a squad, and the leader gets Disconnected, however he doesn't log. Or you just don't like someone in the squad, period, however, the leader won't kick him, or you want to reinvite someone who did good, or something like that.

while the idea may sound nice, but there are certain flaws that I can come up with that doesn't support the idea.

Certain instances like TT and lunar glade, someone usually pays for the "entrance fee". To have a voting system to "kick" leaders or someone you don't like may not be a good idea because maybe he/she was the person who paid for your entrance fee?

Sometimes, lack of communication, and language barriers especially games on PWI (since not everyone in the game are from the USA) where everyone around the world can literally just download the game and play, people do misunderstand each other which causes these mishaps.

Sometimes, that "leader" is good friends, or maybe husband/wife stance with that "someone" you don't like to squad with, and they just don't play without each other. I've seen many cases like this, but unfortunately, we're all humans and always want to spend special times with those who are close to us.

Regarding D/C issues, this is something beyond our control. Anything could have caused it whether it's the ISP fault or something important came up and you just can't spare that minute to explain, etc.. but I agree that PWI has handled D/C issues poorly. The system should have recognized a D/C and move the leader to someone else within a couple seconds of D/C.

With all those flaws being pointed out, my best advise for you is to simply leave squad and find another one. I understand that it may be something difficult like paid instances, money and time loss, but the important factor of any game is that you have as much fun as you can. :)
I quit PW and all its games it had to cater to me. I'm off playing a better pay-to-play game where I experience no glitches, no spamming LF squads, lose stuff in PK mode, lose exp on death or anything for cheaper price than what I paid for here. However, I'll still be lurking around pwi forums from time to time. Quit Date: March 4, 2011 RIP my beloved characters. b:bye

I dont see a need for this since you

    a) have always the option to form a squad yourself and invite only people who you want to be with to the squad

    and

    b) nobody forces you to stay in a squad when you think the leader or someone else is noobing it up

I'm aware of the fact that especially in lower lvl BH people tend to make more mistakes simply because they are new to the game and still learning.

Maisha also had some good points why it's no good idea to implement such a system.
And for D/C issues --> if someone D/C the lead is passed on to the next person in the squad
so unless this person is afk inviting the former leader back is no problem
